Two parallel questionnaires were administered to business students (N=125): i) Original version of Course Experience Questionnaire (Ramsden1991) and ii) Experiential Learning Orientation Questionnaire (ELOQ)- developed by employing Miller and Seller’s (1985) frameworks of transaction and transformative to experiential learning. CEQ measured good teaching; clear goal setting; appropriate workload, appropriate assessment and generic skills development, in conjunction with ELOQ designed to measure five facets of experiential learning. The preferential needs of the learners were identified by applying Pearson Product Moment Correlation that revealed strong positive correlation between the two scales, r= 0.826. The findings of the study suggested active involvement of business students with regards to need analysis. The results offered a sound basis for considering business studen...

The significance of the study strengthens learners to continue their learning process without dissonance. This is an exploratory as well as explanatory research to explore the role of attribution to enhance the learning abilities of students in the classroom through avoidance and repetitive behavior. The researchers have adopted a qualitative method of study. The universe of the present research was Karachi. The respondents were the students of the standard, VIII, and X. The age of subjects was 13-16 years. The sample size of the present research was 150 respondents. In the present study, the researchers have used an Intellectual Achievement, Responsibility Questionnaire (IARQ) developed by Crandall et. al (1965). The IARQ is composed of 34 forced-choice items which describe Carver & White (1994) BIS (I-) /BAS (I+) scales, The BIS (I-) /BAS (I+) scales a positive...

(Stein, Walker, & Forde, 1996).This research aims to investigate (a) if the level of anxiety is higher in females then males while speaking publically. (b) if students tend to be more anxious while speaking in-front of opposite gender (c) if there is an association between reduction in public speaking fear in students and adaptation of effective psycho-physiological strategies for language learning. Samples of 126 undergraduate students have been selected in an equal ratio of male and female students from university of Karachi. Frequency and percentage analysis has been made to determine the level of public speaking fear in male and female students. A factorial ANOVA has been applied for comparative analysis of anxiety levels in males and females while presenting in front of the opposite gender. Further, a paired t-test has been applicable to determine if psycho-physiological strategies for language learning are effective for reduction in glossophobia. The study affirmed that female students get more anxious then males while giving speech publically. It has also found that there is no effect of gender of audience on anxiety level of students during public speaking. Public speaking anxiety has a strong relationship with the adaptation of psycho-physiological strategies and can be reduced effectively.
