The study utilised the ex-post facto research design. The population of the study consisted of all employees at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The simple and purposive sampling techniques were used in selecting 106 employees as the study's sample. An instrument tagged "Self-Efficacy, Resilience and Marital Adjustment Questionnaire" was used in collecting data for the study, with α= 0.81, 0.84, and 0.86 respectively for the instrument's subsections. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis at a 5% significance level. Findings indicate high levels of self-efficacy, resilience, and marital adjustments among the sampled employees, and that employees' gender and self-efficacy play a significant role in their marital adjustment levels; yet, employees' resilience played no significant role (contrasting findings of prior research;

This study examined the interconnectedness of pathological narcissism, indecent dressing, and learned helplessness on the experience of sexual harassment among undergraduates. The study adopted the correlational research design. It involved 284 undergraduate students selected through stratified random sampling. Pathological Narcissism Inventory (α=.94), The Learned Helplessness Scale (α=.91) Indecent Dressing Measure (α=.90) and Sexual Harassment Scale (α=.88) were used as measuring instruments. The data were analysed using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation and multiple regression. The three main predictor variables together accounted for 31% of the total variance in sexual harassment (F(4,283) = 32.858; R= .566; R 2 = .320; Adj. R 2 =.310; P<.01). In addition, each of the three independent variables contributed significantly to prediction of sexual harassment. Therefore, the study concluded that sexual harassment among undergraduates can be reduced when behaviour change agents take into account the variables considered in this study while diagnosing and proffering solutions to vulnerability to sexual harassment on campuses.

Psychological effects of infertility in the life of a woman can lead to tensions between families and also dissatisfaction of marriage. Psychological distress is one of the main psychological problems of women with infertility which has a noticeable impression on all aspects of their life. The severity and frequency of these stressors can contribute to negative outcomes such as psychological distress or marital dissatisfaction. In an attempt to curb the potential negative consequences of infertility stress, individuals and couples often use a number of coping strategies in an effort to manage the level of stress they experience. Cognitive Restructuring Therapy (CRT) has proved effective in modifying cognitive and behavioural deficits of cancer patients and sexually abused adolescents. It is proposed in this paper that it can be applied as an effective counselling strategy for managing psychological distress among women with infertility. The goals and principles of CRT, its techniques, model and applications for managing psychological distress among women with infertility are discussed in the paper.

The purpose of the study was to examine the causes and consequences of infertility in marriage as expressed by married adults in Ekiti State. Descriptive research design was used in the study. Four hundred and twenty married adults (420 respondents) were randomly selected from (7) seven Local Government Areas (LGAs) out of the (16) sixteen Local Government Areas in the state. The responses were obtained with a validated scale of 0.78 reliability coefficient and the data obtained were analysed using percentages, means, standard deviation and rank order for the descriptive data while t-test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to test the null hypotheses. The result showed the causes and consequences of infertility in marriage as expressed by married adults in Ekiti State based on gender. In view of the findings, it was recommended that married adults need to be enlightened on various causes and consequences of infertility and that counsellors should intensify their effort in organizing workshops and conferences on the causes and consequences of infertility in marriage.

Marriage is an agreement and union between a man and a woman to live responsibly as husband and wife for companionship, reproduction, and nurturing of a family. Hence, marriage is a sane and important structure on which every society builds. Ojukwu (2013) confirmed this by saying that for the world to be at peace, marriages, homes, and families must be at peace, as stable marriages produce stable children and families, which in turn give rise to a stable society. Marriage is a union that is supposed to bring joy and happiness to society, as well as honor to those who participate in it. Marriage is meant to be sacred to those involved and it is necessary to the social order and in the interest of society.

Pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental design of 3x3x3 factorial matrix was adopted for this study. Simple random technique was used to select one Local Government Area (LGA) from each of the three senatorial districts in Ekiti State, while one Senior Secondary School (SSS) was randomly selected from each LGA. The Father-Absence Involvement Screening Scale was used to select 166 senior school I and II students across the three schools. Participants were randomly assigned to Cognitive Restructuring (CR-57), Problem-Solving (PST-59) and control (50) groups. Treatment lasted 10 weeks. Instruments used were Ryff's Psychological Well-Being (α = 0.84), and Resilience (α = 0.83) scales, and Parental Socioeconomic Status Questionnaire (α = 0.73). Data were subjected Analysis of covariance and Multiple classification analysis at 0.05 level of significance. There was no significant main effect of parental socioeconomic status academic on self-efficacy (F (2,140) = .549, p >.5, = .008) of in-school adolescents from fatherabsent families. There was no significant main effect of resilience on academic self-efficacy (F (2, 140) = .069, p > .05, = .001) There was no significant interaction effect of treatment and socioeconomic IJARBAS

Ninety-seven members of the NURTW whose age ranged from 20-50 (SD=38.0±2.1) were drawn using multi-stage sampling technique. Four standardized self-report measures were used for data collection. Covariance and Bonferroni pair wise test were used to analyse data at 0.05 level of significance. There was a significant main effect of self-efficacy (39.81) as participants with high self-efficacy had a better reduced alcohol addiction than their counterpart with low self-efficacy (25.72). There was no significant main effect of psychological distress on the reduction of alcohol addiction among the NURTW members. The need for counsellors to develop soft skills like self-efficacy in combating addiction and other addictive tendencies among the NURTW was implied from this outcome.
