This study assessed the content of Veterinary University Library Websites in India. Sixty-five parameters/criteria of a checklist method are set and used for data collection for analysing the library website and webpage content. The finding result revealed that Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Bikaner was secured on the top with 3,39,564 Alexa Traffic Global Rank along with the first position with 42,798 Alexa Indian Rank also. The findings showed that the Gauhati University DLISc Website scored 27 out of 35, which ranked first and came under a very good grade point. It was revealed from the study that no selected DLISc University Websites falls under the "Outstanding score criteria 29-35". The result of the present paper will be helpfulto understand the current status of DLISc University Websites for website developers and administrators, so that they will make more informative, up to date information, authentic information, user'friendly and dynamic ways to the users as per the user's requirement.

The tools are becoming more popular among avid users of this modern era as they are fast and effective tools for disseminating information. Use of these tools in a library will fascinate the users and disseminate information in a more attractive and agreeable medium. This paper is aimed at presenting the results of a study conducted in the central universities in Assam State on Web 2.0 applications among LIS professionals. During the survey, structured questionnaires were distributed randomly among LIS professionals and the responses were received with a rate of eighty eight percent. The comparative study revealed the respondents' awareness and rate of knowledge about the Web 2.0 tools in the central university libraries.

A checklist method was used for content evaluation based on an earlier study conducted by different experts on this respective topic. The findings result of the study showed that the ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal scored 34 out of 52 (65.38%), which secured first ranked and comes under the “Good” grade point whereas ICAR-Central Institute on Fisheries Education, Mumbai Library Website/Webpage holds ranked in 4 th position with “Needs Improvement” grade point to make available the basic library services as per their requirement by scoring 12 out of 52 (23.07%) features.

The present study evaluated the content of Agricultural University Library Websites/Webpages in Rajasthan State, India. Sixty-five criteria of a checklist method are prepared and used for data collection for analysing the feature of library website/webpage. The finding result revealed that the Swami Keshwan and Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner Library Websites/Webpage scored 35 (53.84%) out of 65, which ranked first and falls under the good grade point whereas Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Bikaner Library Website ranked in 5 th position by scoring 10 (15.38%) out of 65 features and thus needs improvement to provide the basic library services as per user demand.

The report on the present study will help decide to update the State Private Universities Libraries website. The eighteen State Private Universities Libraries Websites in North East India were selected for the study basis on content available on their websites. The present study revealed that the University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) and Sikkim Manipal University became "very good" ranking scores compared to other states private universities, whereas "lower-ranked" libraries are, etc. needs improvement to provide the basic library services as per user demands.

Web 2.0 Technology endorses the way in which teachers learn, browse information and communicate with students instantly. These tools facilitate distance learning, virtual online learning and e-learning which have transformed the way the teaching learning process a lot. It offers new and alternate modes of delivery and facilitates to reach new potential target groups. The present study attempted to assess familiarity of Web 2.0 and to determine the difficulties faced by LIS faculty while using and teaching Web 2.0 tools in LIS education in India. Survey method is adopted with the help of online structured questionnaire and designed keeping in view of the stated objectives comprising of several types of questions, dichotomous questions (yes/no), multiple choice questions and opinion-based questions. Findings revealed that 95.45% of participants learned through self-practice or through online tutorials.

The study further aims to investigate the level of satisfaction among the users with the existing ICT infrastructure facilities available in the university library and the various problems encountered by them while accessing internet and electronic information resources. Primarily, questionnaire has been used as a data collection tool along with observations and informal interviews. A total of 110 questionnaires have been distributed randomly among the users who have visited the university library for accessing internet. The data collected through the survey has been analyzed using simple percentage technique and the responses are presented in tables and figures.
