The author pays a special attention to classical model of university education as a system of kno... more The author pays a special attention to classical model of university education as a system of knowledge transfer that is connected with the hope of increasing the effectiveness of teaching philosophy in the format of the history of ideas, that in the transition from a literacy of the classical era to the application of modern information technologies is associated with a number of persistent thinking stereotypes. The author points out that the temptation to simplicity of abstract introduction into competences, including critical reflection, excludes the use of modern discourse in the philosophical analysis of modernity. The author comes to conclusion that modernity itself as an area of scientific research, the integration of disciplinary approaches and educational programs remains on the other side of the conceptualization.

The paper is devoted to the study of urban identity and imagedesign as unique resources of the qu... more The paper is devoted to the study of urban identity and imagedesign as unique resources of the quality of environment, and actual means of increasing competitive advantages of the city and its investment attractiveness. The work includes identification of criteria of the qualities of environment, and peculiarities of the Russian comfort urban environment programs, analysis of specifics of regional identity and possibilities of design in the formation of creative authentic environment of the cities, as well as elaboration of the initiative projects for the city, regional images and codes of environment, forms of urban development and the author design. The project works of the "Irkutsk trade axis" / "Irkutsk quarters" not only create comfortable environment but suggest a concept of transformation of these territories into investment attractive "places", combining possible commercial profit with the needs of the city and tasks of the modern life in the unique milieu of the historical city. Paradoxically, in the beginning of the 21 st century globalization of the world opens up "the values of cultural diversity as a specific "resource"" [1, P. 50], that transform identity and values of different cultures into the key factor of increasing competitiveness of the city and its investment attractiveness, making them specific tools to work with the future. Respectively, formation of qualitative urban environment, identical and unique, today is the priority task of development of the Russian cities as a part of the state programs. Imagedesign plays a significant role in the creation of authentic milieu and positive image of the city. All these factors determine relevance and novelty of the presented paper, the main purpose of which is to identify peculiarities of regional identity and possibilities of the imagedesign in the formation of individual, artistically valuable and comfortable environment of the Siberian city (on the example of the city of Irkutsk), and also as a means of increasing competitive advantages of the city, inter alia through creation of initiative, experimental and creative projects for the city. Selection of territories of the "Irkutsk trade axis" / "Irkutsk quarters" for the project works, representing the most prospective, debated and significant platforms for the development of Irkutsk, provides the research with additional actuality.

The article is devoted to the consideration of composition role in architecture and design, which... more The article is devoted to the consideration of composition role in architecture and design, which seems to be a kind of propaedeutic block of the profession, immersive discourse, as well as the basic paradigm of art-project training. The author of the article studies the actual compositional techniques and concepts of modern project practice, interpreted as internal mechanisms and patterns of life in the professional space, a special system of «entry» into the specifics of art and project activities. The author outlines that formed on the basis of such an ideology, the author’s course on the basics of composition reflects key aspects of a compositional language formation taking into account immersive perception and serves as a way of introducing into the profession, mastering compositional thinking. The author comes to the conclusion that proposed approach allows students to integrate into the profession organically, sets the forms of immersing in art and project realities.
