The paper consists conceptualization of recreational conflict and presents a case study of the co... more The paper consists conceptualization of recreational conflict and presents a case study of the conflict at recreation areas around the Malta Lake in Poznan. Conflict is defined as goal interference attributed to another’s behavior. There are for factors that caused the conflict: activity style, resource specificity, mode of experience and lifestyle tolerance. Next, examples of recreational conflicts occurring at lakes and rivers, on the snow, at campsites and beaches and at hiking trails. Then the results of preliminary surveys of recreational conflict on the Malta Lake in Poznan were discussed. At the end of the paper some ways of dealing with conflict around the Malta Lake in Poznan were formulated.
The author tries to explain the idea of Recreation Opportunity Spectrum system and its practical ... more The author tries to explain the idea of Recreation Opportunity Spectrum system and its practical application in the management of the protected area: Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in Australia. ROS main idea is to determine recreation settings, where varying outdoor recreation activities and experience opportunities can be realized. These concepts, which have been developed relatively recently, are very useful in the management of recreational areas around the world. The implementation of this system in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park runs from the 80's and is constantly modifi ed in order to achieve its objectives, which are, on the one hand: the protection of natural heritage resources, and on the other: making them available to tourists and to ensure the viability of the local economy. This system is not perfect and requires constant changes and improvements. According to the author, ROS and zoning, are those of many management tools that can be successfully implemented in Poland in the areas intensively used in tourism and recreation. The increasing volume of reported recreational confl icts all over the country, confi rm the need for seeking management strategies, which the ROS system and zoning are included.

Ocenie poddano zespól palacowo-parkowy w Rogalinie-od dział Muzeum Narodowego w Poznaniu. Badania kwestiona riuszowe przeprowadzono wśród 102 osób zwiedzających obiekt. Wyodrębniono czynniki istotne dla zadowolenia zwie dzających. Za pom ocą graficznej analizy oczekiwania-per-Cepcja zidentyfikowano silne i słabe punkty atrakcji. Stową kluczowe: jakość usług turystycznych, atrakcja tury styczna, metoda SERVQUAL.

The aim of the article is to identify unique image attributes of Poznań, Wrocław and Bratislava. ... more The aim of the article is to identify unique image attributes of Poznań, Wrocław and Bratislava. It was made using the analysis of opinions posted on the English-language TripAdvisor website ('Things to do…' category for three cities). 76 most-emerging words-attributes were extracted from 29,383 reviews with the text mining procedure. These words differentiate the examined cities among themselves. Analysis of the correspondence revealed unique image attributes for each city. In addition, sentiment analysis was carried out, which showed differences in the affective dimension of the images between the cities.

The aim of the article is to diagnose the current state of research on cultural tourism in the world. The following research problem was formulated in the paper: What is the state of research on cultural tourism in the world? The main problem was specified by means of three specific problems: (1) Which types of cultural tourism are subject to scientific research? (2) What research methods are used in research? (3) What are the problems the researchers deal with in their work? The analysis included 107 articles published in 2008-2018 in Tourism Management and Annals of Tourism Research. A qualitative data analysis using the NVIVO software was applied. Main achievements have been summarized and directions for further research in the field of cultural tourism have been proposed.

Celem pracy jest zidentyfikowanie najważniejszych obszarów problemowych i kierunków rozwoju interpretacji dziedzictwa. Przeanalizowano 1878 pozycji literaturowych pobranych z ośmiu najważniejszych baz danych prac naukowych na świecie. Analiza miała charakter ilościowo-jakościowy. W celu ujawnienia głównych obszarów problemowych pojawiających się w literaturze, przeanalizowano związki pomiędzy słowami w abstraktach artykułów za pomocą sieci Kohonena, wykonując mapowanie treści. Następnie w efekcie analizy jakościowej zidentyfikowano siedem głównych kierunków rozwoju interpretacji dziedzictwa obecnych w badanych publikacjach: doświadczenia, ko-kreację, konstruktywizm, publiczny dyskurs, AR i VR, kreatywność i interpretację dziedzictwa cyfrowego.

It is a relatively new form of recreation but thanks to the global diffusion of innovations, the game has reached all continents over the decade, gaining unprecedented popularity, especially in large cities. The article aims to identify and characterize the attributes of memorable game experiences (MGEs) of escape room customers in Budapest, Hungary (the eldest in Europe, well-established market for this entertainment). The paper attempts to define the components of MGEs innovatively, using text-mining analysis of big data. This study used mixed methods: quantitative and qualitative. Using PLS-SEM, this article proposes and verifies a model among Gen Z that captures the relations... more Using PLS-SEM, this article proposes and verifies a model among Gen Z that captures the relationship between attitudes towards the environmental ecosystem and green tourism, personal and social norms regarding pro-environmental behaviour, perceived behavioural control, perceived green image of destinations (PGID), behavioural intentions regarding green holiday destinations (GHD), and willingness to pay (WTP) more for visiting them. The paper also verifies whether intercultural differences exist in the relationships between these variables. The most important results indicate that (1) for Gen Z, the perceived green image of destinations has the strongest impact on intention to travel to green holiday destinations; (2) the proposed variables explain the willingness to visit green holiday destinations to a much greater extent than the WTP a higher price for such trips. The purpose of the work is to review the scientific literature in the field of heritage interpretation and identify the directions of its development. 1878 literature items from eight research databases worldwide were analysed. The analysis was quantitative and qualitative. To reveal the main problems emerging in the literature, relationships between words in article abstracts were analysed using the Kohonen network. Eight main thematic areas present in the researched publications were identified: experiences, co-creation, public discourse, AR and VR, creativity, constructivism and digital heritage interpretation.

The Hedonic Price Method helps develop a hierarchy of ski resorts, where the criterion is the ratio of the ski pass price to the quality of the service. Using a properly selected research sample and the nonlinear estimation method, one can estimate the impact of ski resorts attributes on ski pass prices. The estimated ski pass prices allow to compare the effectiveness of ski resorts in different countries. material and methods. Data for the analysis, relating to the ski season of 2015/2016, were attributes of 245 ski resorts in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The quality index was constructed with the method of hedonic prices and nonlinear least squares estimation. results. The average quality of Polish ski resorts is significantly higher than that of Czech and Slovakian ones. However, prices in the Polish resorts are highest in relation to the offered quality. In Poland, there are the largest number of ski resorts characterized by excessive (in relation to the offered quality) prices of ski passes. conclusions. The features that most strongly affect the price of ski passes in Polish, Czech, and Slovakian ski resorts are: the proportion of fast and modern detachable chairlifts, the upper station altitude, and the ski season duration.
