Grandes bloques de piedra desprendidos del acantilado erizan el litoral, contra el cual el Paraná entero tropieza, remolinea y se escapa por fin aguas abajo,.

A key to the 37 Junellia species recognized by the latest delimitation of the genus is here proposed, as well as an actualized description of the genus and its differentiation from related genera from tribe Verbeneae. Nine species and one variety of Junellia, never taxonomically treated before, are here described and/or illustrated, or their description is here amended. Two new combinations: Junellia hookeriana var. catamarcensis and Junellia trifida, and eight new synonyms are here proposed.

In this country this tribe is represented by 16 taxa: four Glandularia species, five Junellia species, one Mulguraea species and four Verbena species and two varieties; six of these taxa are endemic to Peru. Three new combinations are presented: Glandularia cuneifolia, Junellia clavata and Verbena glabrata var. hayekii. Nine new synonyms are proposed, lectotypes are designated for Verbena cuneifolia, Verbena clavata and Verbena villifolia, and an epitype is designated for Verbena pogostoma.

The new species, Oxalis morronei, belongs to O. section Palmatifoliae because of its general morphology and distribution, but differs from the other species included in that section by having square leaflets with the apices deeply emarginate, the bases slightly cordate and its margin wavy and ciliate. The new species is illustrated and affinities with other members of O. section Palmatifoliae are herein explained.

Several authors distinguished this species by leaf shape and margin. Collections coming from northern Salta (Argentina) display intermediate characters among both species. To evaluate whether there is a morphological basis to distinguish L. integrifolia from L. boliviana, phenetic relationships among 40 specimens including both species and their varieties were studied. A matrix of 46 morphologic characters was analyzed by cluster and ordination methods. Both the dendrogram and the distribution of the specimens in the principal components (PCA) analysis suggest that a precise limit between both species does not exist, and no characters to differentiate them were found. Consequently, L. boliviana is placed under the synonymy of L. integrifolia. A description of the species, the synonym list, a figure and map of distribution are included.

Illustrations and a distribution map are provided for E. simplicata, which is endemic to Roraima State, northern Amazonia, Brazil.

Se designan lectotipos para los siguientes taxones: Lippia lantanifolia, Lantana brachypoda y Lippia turbinata. Se consideran taxones dudosos a Lantana cummingiana y Lantana hyptoides.

The genus is represented by 12 species and one variety, eight of these taxa are endemic to Chile. Species are distributed from the most septentrional area of the territory, Arica and Parinacota region, towards Los Lagos region, southwards. However, the highest species diversity is found in the central regions of Coquimbo, Valparaíso and Metropolitana. Each one of the 12 species of Glandularia is here described and illustrated. Furthermore, 14 new synonyms and three new combinations are proposed: Glandularia landbecki, G. multiglandulosa, and G. ribifolia;
