This paper attempts to highlight four key soft skills that have been identified by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia in its move to enhance employability among students from three faculties. A questionnaire based on the basic employability skills was used to collect data. The study reveals a satisfactory level of students’ performance during the training. Teamwork skill and critical thinking were ranked as needing the most improvement by students. In conclusion, the findings illustrate that the employers agreed that industrial training program is one of the vital contributors to the employability skills. As an implication, universities need to equip students not just with intellectual capabilities but also applied practical soft skills which make them more “work ready”. Keywords: Industrial training; employability, employability skills, employers’ perception

Worldwide, the e-learning market has a growth rate of 35.6%, but failures still exist. Little is known about why many users stop their online learning after the initial experience. In order to understand the problem, this study examines undergraduate students' responds to the use of e-learning. A questionnaire was used to collect data about the e-learning's quality, and the students' perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness and behavioral intention. The preliminary results from the study reveals two major findings. First, the 3-TUM model is suitable to understand students' continuance intention in the context of e-learning. Secondly, perceived enjoyment was a bigger predictor to students' continuance intention compared to perceived usefulness. Finally, conclusions, implications and future direction of study are also provided.

This study attempts to develop a conceptual model by utilizing the 3-TUM model to understand the continuance intention in the context of e-learning. This model also incorporates system quality as a factor that influences students' behavioral intention to use elearning. The preliminary results from the study reveals two major findings. Secondly, system functionality was a bigger predictor to students' perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment compared to system interaction and system response.
