We are regularly swamped with innumerable products and advertisements. In the strikingly competitive global marketplace, organizations struggle to muddle their way through the intense competition, constantly challenged to kick it up a notch to supersede their competitors. Advertisements and visual branding play a pivotal role in initiating unconscious processes ensuing decision-making, making it imperative to scrutinize the consumers' standpoint, feelings, beliefs, and intent. Marketers splurge a fortune to connect consumers to their products through marketing campaigns and transform them into purchasers. This research aims to explore and quantify advertising and visual branding elements in e-tailing (online) head-to-head with showrooming (offline). 100 subjects in the age group of 21 years and above participated in this research. A self-designed questionnaire was prepared concerning the literature available on consumer buying behaviour. The extensive data obtained through percentage analysis has been summarized. The results present different facets of consumer buying behaviour and what drives it. It further enunciates the factors associated with advertisements and visual branding that lay the foundation of a strong positive brand image that converts a potential customer into a buyer. Individuals as purchasers will have their own opinions and preferences. However, to validate the data and the results obtained, cutting-edge technology such as Eye-tracking and Virtual Reality can be employed to understand how marketing strategies can hit the bull's eye.

The individual's tendency of committing a crime is associated with personalities like low agreeableness, conscientiousness, extroversion and high neuroticism (Bartol & Bartol, 2005) (Mõttus, Guljajev, Allik, Laidra, & Pullmann, 2011). Out of many theoretical approaches, understanding an individual's personality is assumed to determine and rationalize such behavior. Drawing from several paradigms, this paper will explore the impacts of personality and personality factors that affect in criminogenic exposures and crime involvement of individuals who are as offenders and non-offenders. Basing on views described by Eysenck where he linked crime and personality, focus was on the Big Five Personality traits i.e. openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism for exploring how the constructs of personality have developed overtime in studying criminal behavior and identifying indicators of predisposition to crime. 100 Offenders (Sabarmati Central Jail) and 100 Non-Offenders (college students and working class) participated in the study, whose personalities were measured through survey. Results showed that personality may directly affect the individual influences towards criminal behaviors and may be useful in developing interventions for both management and reduction of such early detected tendencies.

Deception ranges from the innocent lies of kids to terror-creating community lies. Deception is a common aspect of planet life. Deception can save a life from predators, for winning a mate, in securing meals, and to combat competitors. Deception is part of biological life. Deception can be found in birds, animals, and microbes. But, in humans, deception is not a part of biological activities. Human deception can be for survival or for escaping from the punishment of wrongdoing of them. Anyway, human deception is a trending topic in the science world. There are various techniques in the forensic psychology field to detect human deception. Polygraph, layered voice analyser, forensic Narcoanalysis, and brain electrical oscillation signature profiling, brain fingerprinting are the major deception detection techniques. This review article focuses on the theoretical perspectives and background of Brain Electrical Oscilla...

Pornography is easily accessible in today’s time to each and every one without discrimination. It is available to people of all gender and age groups. Prostitution involves real people while pornography involves actors in recorded setup. There is a wide spread notion that pornography is an art form but what do artists and historians along with common people feel. This paper also aims to draw an outline as to what is considered normal sexual activity/action, crime or pathology. Prostitution can help in reduction of rape while pornography can help in release of sexual urges in a healthy way, then why is it considered as a toxic and corrupting sector. The paper also suggests suggestions of how pornography can be used as healthy yet a secured way to deal with Malevolence to take care of mental health as well as the increase of crime rate due to one of the basic physical needs.

These two modes of information processing become the foundation for the development of differences in the functions of the two cerebral hemispheres. Each hemisphere has certain areas assigned with certain functions. The dominance of a particular processing mode in the brain of an individual gives rise to specific behavioural and personality characteristics. An individual may be excellent in performing certain tasks and may exhibit characteristics which would define his individuality, his identity and the dominant talent. These characteristics may be strongly correlated with the hemispheric dominance. Thus, it is considered that there may be a close link between hemisity and behavioural characteristics of an individual. This ...

It includes behavioral characteristics, both inherent and acquired, that distinguish one person from another and that can be observed in people's relations to the environment and to the social group. The American Psychological Association defines anxiety as “an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts, and physical changes such as increased blood pressure.” Introverts and extroverts experience the world – and experience anxiety – in markedly different ways. Some studies show that introverts are more vulnerable to anxiety hence at a greater risk of clinical depression. This study aims to find a relation between personality type and anxiety level of an individual. The study was conducted on 100 individuals (50 males and 50 females, ranging from the age group of 20–30 years) in which Eysenck's Personality Questionnaire-Revised was used to identify the personality type and Beck Anxiety Inventory, and a self-analysis questionnaire was used to measure the anxiety level of the individual. A comparison between both the test results revealed that individuals who are found to be extroverts indicate mild anxiety on the anxiety scale whereas individuals who are found to be introverts indicate high levels of anxiety on the anxiety scale. The accuracy of this research can however be determined through a more detailed research.

Some of these behaviors might be harmful or dangerous to them or to others. One of such behavior is that of bullying. Bullying is an act which can have many serious negative consequences on the physical, social and psychological health of the victim. There are various researches which show that there are many negative consequences of bullying on the personal lives of the victims as it affects their physical health, social well-being and psychological health. Some researches also show that the victims of bullying may have serious problems such as anxiety issues, depression, suicidal ideation, etc. Taking this into account the current research tries to understand whether the act of bullying leads to risk of suicidal tendencies among adolescents as suicide is also most prevalent among youngsters. So in this research the co...

This arises difficulty in attributing ownership and authorship to electronically stored information, and also in identifying individuals in control of information systems and devices. The purpose of this study is to find out if BEOS can help in finding the offender by using the actions and techniques applied in Hacking for designing the probes. Brain Electrical Oscillations Profiling (BEOS) profiling is a technique primarily developed as a forensic tool for deception detection in suspects which was developed and tested by Dr. C. R. Mukundan. Analyzing the electrophysiological data recorded from scalp of a subject, the test is expected to provide information on the presence of “Experiential Knowledge” of participation in any act. Subjects were selected through purposive method of sampling where five Professional hackers and five Amateur hackers were involved in this study. Two sets of probes were designed for the BEOS profiling, one using the Specific experience narrated by the participant, and other being Standard set for all referring to most commonly performed Social engineering hacking method i.e., Phishing. BEOS profiling was conducted and the reports were analyzed. The comparison of Experiential Knowledge elicited between the Specific and Standard sets has shown no significant difference, allowing us to state that we can use Standard process of attack or breach identified, for designing the probes to conduct BEOS profiling of the suspects, when no electronic evidence is collected or available to determine specific traces. Overall, the results showed positivity for the use of BEOS profiling in cyber-crime investigations, when there is difficulty in identifying the suspects and the attribution of their ownership to the electronic evidence collected is in doubt.

In particular, India is amongst those that rank rather low in the attainment of gender equality and parity. This paper aims to provide provisions for a gender sensitive educational system by discussing the nuances of gender inequality. Moreover, it also discusses why it is necessary to bring about changes in the current educational system for a more gender sensitive society. In order to come up with approaches that would help with this process, relevant literature has been reviewed to ensure incorporation of a wider range of strategies to provide a gender sensitive learning environment. Gender disparity in literacy rates in India has been examined, and changes in the curriculum, extra-curricular activities, training for teachers, vocational training, etc. have been recommended. Constant monitoring of these practices and evaluation would maximise the benefits of an altered, more responsive system of Indian education. Attaining gender parity in education will not only build more considerate adults, but it is an important aspect of inclusive education. One can hope that it will prove to be helpful in educating students about issues related to the LGBTQ and transgender populations, and adding to a better and kinder society.

Impairment in memory may occur due to aging or due to neurological disorders such as stroke, dementia, traumatic brain injury and so on. Neurofeedback training is a technological advancement in the field of neuropsychological rehabilitation. It is a non-invasive technique that aims at resolving issues in the neural networks of the brain instead of repressing them. It is based on the concept of training one’s brain to control the different brain waves and involves strengthening as well as suppression of certain frequencies of brain waves. Neurofeedback training has found a major application in remediation of cognitive deficits as well as enhancement of memory functions. This aim of this paper is to briefly review the potential and the duality of the therapeutic role played by neurofeedback training in remediation of memory deficits and enhancement of memory in normal individual...
