The participation and habits of women in Self Help Groups (SHGs) made a significant impact on their empowerment both in social and economical aspects. The present study addresses women empowerment through self help groups in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The information required for the study has been collected from both the primary and secondary sources. The results of the study revealed that the SHGs have had greater impact and significant role on both economic and social aspects of the beneficiaries.

Today the MSME sector, being one of the major prominent sectors of the Indian economy, significan... more Today the MSME sector, being one of the major prominent sectors of the Indian economy, significantly contributing to the country’s industrial production, exports and employment. MSME sector plays significant role in socio-economic development by motivation and supporting industrialization in rural and backward areas. The MSME sectors continuously progress facilitates for entrepreneurship development, which in turn assists in wealth creation and achieving inclusive economic growth. According to estimates, MSMEs contribute over 40% to the total industrial production. In addition, it is estimated to account for 45% of the manufacturing output and 40% of total exports of the country. Further, the sector has outperformed over rest of the industrial sector in terms of growth. In China, the MSME sectorcontributes around 60% of the GDP and accounts for around 99% of the total enterprises providing around 75% of the total employment. In case of Japan, the SME’s share in GDP is 56.8%, constituting 99.7% of all enterprises and providing employment of 70% of total employment. This paper is focusing on assessment of quality practices, performances and challenges of MSMEs in India.

Social Advertisements are a powerful tool for social change. Social advertising is about applying marketing and advertising principles to promote health and other social issues and bringing about positive behavioral change. Social advertising sells a behavioral change to a targeted group of individuals, making them accept a new behavior, reject a potential behavior, modify a current behavior and abandon an old
behavior. In fact the state and central governments have been spending significant amounts of money on social advertising but the impact of such advertisements has not been studied in a systematic way. Hence a systematic study was undertaken across the length and breadth of Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh which included identifying target groups, distributing questionnaires, collecting data from the respondents and statistically analyzing the data to make the inference.

The present paper is aimed to formulate the conceptual framework to brand loyalty of soft drinks. A convenience sample of 352 respondents from the Kurnool district is selected for this research. Collected data analyzed by regression analysis, factor analysis and reliability test. Two factors emerged from the data to explain the brand loyalty of soft drinks. The factors include customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

As the flow of authority and power from top level to lower levels, the hierarchy of various stages they can maintain at every stage with this information and communications technology. If this maintained and implemented properly there can be good governance, why because at all stages there is a chance of transparency that leads corruption-free government schemes among various people. Speed working from government employees and even in people's mind also there can be trust that government doing good for them. This is all possible only by way of e-governance. e-governance can be implemented start from greater cities to small villages. E-governance can be a process of reform in the way government works, share information, engage people and deliver services to them. It can be referred as the empowerment of people because bureaucrat's involvement can be reduced a lot. Government also can reduce cost in terms of providing services and acquiring from different parties like suppliers, banks and various departments. With these functions of management can also be implemented like, supervising, planning, organizing, coordinating and staffing effectively.

The reasons are not hard to identify. Life sciences research literally touches on issues of life and death. Biotechnology aims to serve basic human needs such as human health, food and a safe environment, touches on fundamental values, such as human dignity and the genetic integrity of humanity, can raise human rights issues such as access to health and benefits from scientific progress, raises concerns over equitable access to the fruits of new technologies, the consent of those involved in research, and protection of the environment. The ethical dimension of the life sciences touches many issues and policy communities, but one widely debated aspect is the ethical implications of protect in biotechnological inventions through the intellectual property. Intellectual property refers to legal rights resulting from intellectual activity in the industrial, scientific, literary and artistic fields. IP systems protect certain well-defined subject matter by giving limited entitlements to eligible right holders to exclude others from certain uses of the protected material. But an IP right does not give the holder the entitlement to use or market a product.
