Current health promotion in exclusive breastfeeding is still conventional by using leaflet, poste... more Current health promotion in exclusive breastfeeding is still conventional by using leaflet, poster, and direct face-to-face consultation between pregnant mothers and health workers. The number of exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Kudus Regency in 2018 was 40%. This research aims to develop an android-based application as an effort to improve pregnant mothers attitudes and knowledge towards exclusive breastfeeding. The research procedures consist of: 1) Literature study and field analysis; 2) design; 3) application development; 4) expert validation; and 5) black box test. The research takes place at Puskesmas (community health center) Bae Kudus. The research instruments include: 1) questionnaires on knowledge, attitudes, and information sources of exclusive breastfeeding; 2) product validation sheets to measure application validity level; and 3) black box test sheets. Oleh karena itu, penulis merancang miniatur robot lengan menggunakan mikrokontroler Atmega8535. Komponen utama dari miniatur robot lengan adalah mekanik, elektronik dan program. Rancang bangun miniatur robot lengan tersusun sistematis yaitu, pemilihan bahan yang cocok, perancangan perangkat keras (kerangka robot, lengan robot, gripper), perancangan elektronik (power supply, regulator, downloader, mikrokontroler), dan perancangan perangkat lunak. Enhancing comprehensive reading skills: learning from metacognitive strategy

Reading comprehension is a significant aspect of students' gaining understanding through reading.... more Reading comprehension is a significant aspect of students' gaining understanding through reading. Low achievements in reading comprehension have long been linked to a lack of motivation and strategies. This study attempted to implement a model of reading comprehension based on metacognitive learning strategies. This study involved the following stages: developing metacognitive learning strategies in reading comprehension practice, and testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the model. Observation, interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires were used for data collection, while interactive modelling, evaluative analysis, and comparative analysis were employed for data analysis. Prior to implementation, this model was tested in two schools. Two classes from these schools were selected for this study, one as the treatment group and the other as the control group. Students' reading comprehension skills were found to improve significantly after application of metacognitive learning strategies. The model demonstrated its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for helping students gain a deeper understanding of the text. The results could be applied in developing better methods for enhancing reading skills.

Dalam setiap pelaksanaan ujian perlu memperhatikan tindak kecurangan yang dilakukan siswa berupa mencontek dan kerja sama bertukar jawaban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan soal acak yang berbeda kepada setiap siswa dengan menggunakan metode Linear Congruential Generator (LCG). Akan tetapi penggunaan metode LCG masih memiliki kelemahan dimana hasil pengacakan mudah ditebak sehingga perlu adanya optimalisasi pengacakan yaitu menggunakan dua LCG dan bantuan matrik yang menjadi metode Coupled Linear Congruential Generator (CLCG). Metode modifikasi CLCG menghasilkan pengacakan yang lebih baik dan pola yang lebih rumit dibandingkan dengan metode LCG.

The test used as main instrument to measure concepts mastery related thermodynamics premises vocational understanding. Low achievements in reading comprehension have long been linked to a lack of motivation and strategies. This study attempted to implement a model of reading comprehension based on metacognitive learning strategies. This study involved the following stages: developing metacognitive learning strategies in reading comprehension practice, and testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the model. Observation, interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires were used for data collection, while interactive modelling, evaluative analysis, and comparative analysis were employed for data analysis. Prior to implementation, this model was tested in two schools. Two classes from these schools were selected for this study, one as the treatment group and the other as the control group. Students' reading comprehension skills were found to improve significantly after application of metacognitive learning strategies. The model demonstrated its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for helping students gain a deeper understanding of the text. The results could be applied in developing better methods for enhancing reading skills.

Design/methodology/approach The method used in this study was research and development (R&D) that consisted of the following five stages: first, planning based on the result of initial observation in the field, second, development of training model, third, validity test model, fourth, limited test and fifth, final model determination. This research used and involved 12 beauty successful beauty salon entrepreneurs as validator models of business incubator training management. Dalam setiap pelaksanaan ujian perlu memperhatikan tindak kecurangan yang dilakukan siswa berupa mencontek dan kerja sama bertukar jawaban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan soal acak yang berbeda kepada setiap siswa dengan menggunakan metode Linear Congruential Generator (LCG). Akan tetapi penggunaan metode LCG masih memiliki kelemahan dimana hasil pengacakan mudah ditebak sehingga perlu adanya optimalisasi pengacakan yaitu menggunakan dua LCG dan bantuan matrik yang menjadi metode Coupled Linear Congruential Generator (CLCG). Metode modifikasi CLCG menghasilkan pengacakan yang lebih baik dan pola yang lebih rumit dibandingkan dengan metode LCG.
