In addition, the differences among the age and sex were also investigated. Participants were 317 Greek Australian students, between the ages from 12-17 years old. Data was collected using an online survey. Results from the factor analysis yielded five factors accounting for 69.5% of the variance. Independent-samples t test analysis revealed significant differences between the two age groups, in the case of four factors: "suitable for audience", "appropriateness of information's web format", "easy to direct and be oriented" and "interaction and feedback". In the four factors above the younger children reported better results. In conclusion the student feedback from the questionnaires indicated a general level of satisfaction and contentment with this particular web site. The scale developed in the present study can be a useful tool for the evaluation of other relative web sites by web developers.

The participants of this study were 48 young athletes all boys, 10-14 years of age with 2-4 training experience. They were divided in three equal groups and they were all received instruction for two badminton skills with different complexity: a) backhand-short-serve (simple) and b) forehand-long-serve (complex). The three groups received different instructions for the two skills and a) the first group received instructional cues for the correct (C) execution of the performance b) the second group received instructional cues on errors (E) of the execution and c) the third group received instructions on errors and how to correct them (E-C). The training program lasted 12-practice units. There was a pre-test, and a post test after the end of the training program which lasted ten weeks, as well as a retention test, after two weeks which measured the result of their performance. A two way analysis of variance ANOVA (3 groups X 3 measures) with repeated measures on the last factor was used to analyse the effects of the three practice methods of corrective feedback for the two badminton skills on their result (R) scores of their skill performance. After the analysis of the data it was found that group (C) increased the result scores (R) for both skills. Group E increased the result (R) scores of the simple skill. Group E-C increased the result scores (R) of the complex skill. It was concluded that physical education teachers or coaches in order to improve learning in teaching skills to young participants, should take into account the complexity of the skills and use positive corrective feedback with information for the correct execution and how to correct it.

For people involved in teaching motor or perceptual skills in sports, effective models of training in children are a major challenge. Topics related to learning and the development of motor or perceptual skills help people involved in learning movements (coaches, physical education teachers, kinesiologists, physiotherapists) to have a deeper knowledge of the learning processes. An attempt is made to combine theory and practice so that this chapter can be a simple but useful tool for learning, evaluation, proper guidance, planning practice, and providing simple practical approaches to make the work of professionals more effective.

The opportunity given to tourists for active employment during holidays is one of the key reason for choosing regions that offer such activities. Our research took place in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in a year base in order to monitor the tourist behavior of tourists. Participants in the survey were 3070 from seven different countries. Travel behavior in the survey was tested with 5 questions. The behavior of the tourists was different between Greek, English and Polish, who behaved differently from German, Bulgarian, Cypriot and Romanian. The favourable and preferred sports activities are the canoe-kayak, rafting, diving, mountain bike (m.t.b.), climbing-rappeliling, flying-fox and water sports.

The factor structure was tested through an exploratory factor analysis and a regression analysis was used to examine the predictability of fans' brand loyalty by the league brand association dimensions.FindingsSix brand association factors were revealed through the exploratory factor analysis: elite management, entertainment, elite-sportsmanship participants, escape, elite refereeing and corporate identity. In addition, new brand associations and elements were found: elite refereeing which included fast football and the league anthem was found to coexist with logo. The sample that was used included 521 fans that watched volleyball games in five venues in Athens and completed questionnaires that were handed to them. The questionnaires items were the Leisure Involvement Scale (5 Likert scale) which was used by Nassis and Theodorakis (2008) and, for the evaluation of fan loyalty, the questionnaire (8 Likert scale) by Theodorakis and Wann, (2008) both were used in Greek population. Correlated regression analyses were used. Results showed that volleyball fans had a high level of involvement as expressed by three factors, namely Attraction, Centrality and Self-Expression and loyalty as expressed by behaviors such as frequency of watching games/TV/radio and participating in conversations with friends revolving around sports. The correlation analysis s...

However, there is limited research concerning the effect of different focus of attention on learning fundamental movement skills in kindergarten children. The present study aimed to compare the effectiveness of internal and external focus of attention on learning and transfer of a throwing skill in kindergarten children. Participants were 51 children (5-6 years), boys and girls, who were randomly selected and assigned into three groups: two experimental (internal and external focus respectively) and one control group. The movement form and the outcome of a throwing task were evaluated. It was found that both experimental groups improved over time, in both movement form and outcome. During the transfer test, the external focus group was better than the internal focus group in movement form; however, there were no differences in movement outcome. It is concluded that both the external or internal focus of attention improved over time the movement outcome and form of the throwing skill. Since the acquisition of sports skills requires the acquisition of fundamental motor skills, further research is needed to investigate the effect of the external or internal focus of attention on fundamental movement skills in kindergarten children.
