Microstructural analysis requires a syntactical display. Because of the limitation of space, such a diagram is not included in this article; nevertheless, syntactic analysis was the starting point for this research. The reader is referred to the author's dissertation, where the method is explained and a syntactical display of Rev 20 is provided.2 In this study, I am concerned with the outline of the chapter, as well as with the structure of its smaller units. Exegetical and theological implications are also considered. Delimitation of the Passage Rev 19 portrays a twofold supper. The first is positive and occupies w. 1-10. The second is negative and appears in the second part of the chapter. The two parts are clearly differentiated by means of the vision/audition formulas used. In Rev 19:l-10 "I heardn is used twice, to introduce w.1-5 and w. 6-10. It describes the celestial celebration after Babylon's fall. While it is highly commendable and while it is the Adventist approach to rely on Scripture for deciding theological issues, one cannot always provide a clear-cut Bible text that solves the issue. There-fore, it may be helpful to discuss briefly how to handle theological questions. We do this with a high view of Scripture in mind. That is, we assume the Scripture to be God’s propositional revelation to human beings. Categories of Questions

Therefore, organizations and workforce must be able to respond flexibly to changing labour market conditions and demands. As a European Union and NATO member country, the Slovak Republic has been one of the attractive destinations for its stable economic and political situation, common European currency, and skilled and educated labour force. The purpose of the current paper is to identify processes through which multinational companies operate in Slovakia recruit and select new employees for the position of a firstline manager and compare them with those being most widely utilized by Slovak enterprises. This pre-research will serve as a basis for a follow-up comprehensive and comparative research to be made in cooperation with colleagues from the

Humanity and Divinity A word on Jesus’ humanity in Revelation before we discuss his divinity! It has previously been mentioned that a certain number of the designations used for Jesus emphasizes his human nature such as “male child” and “firstborn of the dead.” The male child of Rev 12 refers to Jesus’ birth and incarnation, an experience that divinity normally would not undergo. Also by definition, God cannot die. But humans are born and die. Jesus has not only experienced birth but also death and afterwards resurrection. He was truly human. However, he was not a sinner. In Revelation, John does not—like in other places or like other NT authors (2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:22: 1 John 3:5)—state plainly that Jesus did not sin. But the Apocalypse calls him the Holy One and the True One (Rev 3:7), which is a title for God (Rev 6:10). In the Gospels, Jesus was addressed as the Holy One of God by demons and his disciples (Mark 1:24; Luke 4:34; John 6:69). This title may in a more

One can chose recapitulation or progression. Opinions on the structure of Revelation and on the delimitation of certain passages determine, to a large degree, whether one opts for one or the other of these two possibilities. I will briefly define the terms and state the importance of the issue, then move on to modern representatives of recapitulation. Next, I will address the delimitation of crucial passages, and finally list the arguments in favor of recapitulation in Rev 4-11.

Programs of reconciliation and peace-building are designed to bring deliverance from internal wars and conflicts. Such internal conflicts have been multiplying over the last few decades, and so have the number of people suffering as the result of them. Chapter 1 of this study deals with the method of analysis. A brief review of literature is presented. The study of modern contributions to the macrostructure and especially to the microstructure of the Apocalypse paves the way for a description of the present investigator's methodology. The second chapter concentrates on the syntactical display of Rev 4-11. First, a detailed description of sigla and other techniques is given to allow the reader to Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. In spite of a strict methodology, it is here and there possible to display certain phrases in different ways. In cases like these, a decision must be taken as to which possible arrangement is the best option. In the first section of chapter 3, the proposed method is applied to Rev 4 as a test case. The reader is walked through this passage so that the process involved in creating a syntactical display can become clear. In a second section, this study wrestles with the ambiguities of Rev 5-11. The arguable choices made in the syntactical display of Rev 5-11 are justified. Chapter 4 is designed to observe microstructural features of Rev 4-11. Surface structures of verses and small passages are presented. Verbal and structural similarities between sections are pointed out. Charts are employed. Furthermore, implications for interpretation and macrostructure are presented. Three appendices are provided to enhance further study. Appendix A contains the syntactical display of the entire Book of Revelation. Appendix B lists the vocabulary of Revelation in a kind of concordance in order to facilitate a fast reading of the tables which contain only numbers and no references to texts. Appendix C furnishes tables which compare the vocabulary of the main parts of Revelation with each other. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. In this final part, we will try to use only those data which directly relate to the Lamb and largely avoid information that can be derived from other descriptions and titles of Jesus in Revelation. It is true that in one way or another the other designations of Jesus are indirectly connected to the Lamb, since they also point to Jesus. However, they will not be our focus. Therefore, the passages dealing with the nature, the ministry, and the people of the Lamb do not reflect a complete Christology of Revelation, but provide a Lamb Christology of the book.
