In recent years, piracy has emerged as a growing problem in the gulf of guinea region (the region... more In recent years, piracy has emerged as a growing problem in the gulf of guinea region (the region). The gulf has, in the past years, witnessed a sharp rise in pirate attacks. The aim of this paper is to assess the application and shortcomings of the current arrangements in addressing the problem of piracy in the region. In doing so, the paper presents the possible means of combating piracy in the region and provides an analysis of counter-piracy responses that have been employed in the region. Analysis includes an evaluation of the steps taken by the governments of the region and the effectiveness of the implemented strategies to counter the threat posed by piracy in the region. Identifying the barriers and challenges to combat piracy, a comprehensive arrangement based effective cooperation is proposed in the paper.

Educational finance refers to the government and other educational stakeholders e.g. organization... more Educational finance refers to the government and other educational stakeholders e.g. organization process by which incomes are created, dispersed, extended and used for the operational and capital support of the educational systems, which include teaching/learning, learning resources, infrastructure, extension, society service, and research and innovation engagements. In other, educational economy refers the economic issues that have direct or indirect effects on educational process; including demand and supply concepts in education, and the strong relations of financing with provision of education. (Guthrie, 2017).
Historically, the educational finance became major issue in the middle of nineteenth century in different perspectives. As the other disciplines of education, the educational finance was neglected in some extent before 19th century and afterword, it took its growing in the minds of the educational scholars and lastly, it was considered paramount in any educational institution and the country at large. (Anne Berg, 2015).
As Hough (1993) there is a clearly great difference between the definitions of financial management in business and commerce with the financial management of an educational institution. He mention that it cannot be applied the definition of financial management in business to financial management in education. He added that” there is immediate apparent differences in policy, which are rarely, if ever, applied to any aspects of education”.

Rude, tough management, lack of communication amongst the parents, teachers, school
principals and students are applicable to be found in public/private school; there must be change
such challenges.
Principal is motivator of the school generally, teachers are accountable to principal, e.g.
attendance of teachers, overseeing of children attendance, principal liaisons the government,
outside community, parents and stakeholders. Ineffective schools suffer lack of financial
transparency.
Good emotional state of the students takes part learning of the pupils so paying attention is very
sound to wellbeing of the students.
Normally parents not visit school compounds, some of them not aware importance of school
involvement; roles of the parents in the school is to provide for effective participation plus
learning and extra-curriculum activities, therefore coordination such tasks, is the responsibility of
the head teacher.
To reach on top, or maximize excellence of teaching and learning in the school programs there
must be communication, transparency among the teachers and principal, human connection with
children, parent involvement and good conduct of the bus driver.
