The usual approach to the calculation of line capacity utilization is based on an average daily traffic volume, increased by an oscillation coefficient and this method has been used in this paper. However, this paper gives a new approach to determining the level of the oscillation coefficient which, along with the UIC method of calculating the line capacity enables a more precise establishment of line utilization. The model is based on establishing the oscillation coefficient by a combination of reliability theory and the statistical analysis of traffic volume data. It is thereby made possible to calculate exactly, for the established oscillation coefficient, the utilization of line capacity and reliability of the line which is the subject of the analysis, viz. how many days in a year one can expect a higher number of trains and hence the traf...

Educational technology is constantly changing and improving in line with the development of science and information technology. Traditional teaching is most often criticized for insufficient activity of students, inadequate teaching intuition and dynamism, the impossibility of individualisation of teaching, lack of continuous feedback on the achievements of students and others. Intensive development of telecommunications technology and computer systems, permanent connection to the Internet and WEB based learning systems enabled better use of computer technology in teaching. Computer based knowledge systems provide flexible organization of activities, lectures and study materials and a complex evaluation of students. Teaching is often formalized, verbalized and not sufficiently visual, reducing knowledge durability as well as possibility of connecting theory with real life. Multimedia knowledge systems is created for personal computers offer possibility for making electronic text books involving text, pictures, sounds, animations and films, in such a way that learners can individually proceed in learning teaching contents, they can return to contents which are not clear enough to them, they can receive feedback and additional information in accordance with their own capabilities and interests. Interactivity and quality of presented materials, using multimedia and hypertext, offer considerably richer contents compared with teaching carried out in traditional classroom.

They are adapted on absentia light as well as the other characteristic ecology parameter. On an occasion of researching and organizing Orlovača cave, several representative organisms were discovered. They have been convalescent at the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade. Climate parameters like air temperature and air humidity have been measured in some parts of the cave system which has provided a better understanding of microclimatic characteristics of the Orlovača cave as a habitat of troglobites as a specific cave fauna. In addition, Orlovača cave is a paleontological locality of the cave bear. In this research we created web oriented data base for presenting results and teaching students.

The aim of the paper is to analyze the readiness of the Serbian education system for mobile learning using the 4C method. Key results indicate that mobile learning can be significantly improved by: raising the digital competencies level of teachers and professional associates; system integration of mobile learning; institutional support; promoting the mobile learning concept as well as increasing investments in sustainable progress in terms of education quality and equity.

Students prefer playing computer games and there are not enough physical activities in their everyday lives. This paper deals with software for measuring pupil's abilities in elementary school. To assess the physical abilities of students we used the battery of tests "Eurofit. Tests are carried out in certain order: taping hand-segmentary speed, reach the sedu-flexibility, jump from a place-the power leg, jump in-static force, running 10 times 5 m-agility, running 20 m-sprint speed, coordination with batcoordination, endurance running in (progressively increasing the load)-endurance. Sample includes 1002 students. Based on the results and comparisons with available standards of other authors, we can say that the level of development of motor abilities of students from IV to VII grade school, in most cases within the norms for their age..

In addition to the treatment of various diseases with thermal and mineral water, mud, gas and healing climate, modern spa also implies their importance in disease prevention and more often in recreation. The idea of the paper is to present how weather can be evaluated for recreational needs in the spa resorts. The results show biothermal weather classification for recreation based on the outdoor human heat balance. In this analysis, daily meteorological data (meteorological station of Doboj) were used for two extreme months, January and July. Town of Doboj was taken for analysis because there is a spa resorts in its vicinity.

These technologies have caused rapid changes in production, social relations worldwide, life of people and their education. Managing innovations is very complex, because the teacher's resistance occurs due to insufficient capability and inadequate equipment in schools. Overcoming this problem involves active participation in seminars for teacher training. Development of information technology and constantly innovating educational technology causes changes in the methods and forms of teaching and organization that would be optimal in the era of mass application of Internet and electronic sources of knowledge. New knowledge, new inventions and new technologies influence, directly of indirectly, reform and advancement of education system, changes of teaching contents and other sources of knowledge, betterment of teaching technique and technology. We shall mention some of the discoveries which have been influencing the physical education system.

Eighteen university students (age: 24.1 ± 1.7 years, 9 females) underwent 7 weeks of parallel squat training (2 days/week) preceded by a 2-week familiarization period. Squat strength (1RM) and cross-sectional area (CSA) of four quadriceps muscles were assessed at baseline and at the end of the study. At posttest, 1RM and CSA of quadriceps muscles significantly increased (p < 0.01), with moderate-to-large effect (ES = 1.25–2.11) for 1RM (8.33 ± 6.64 kg), VM CSA (0.12 ± 0.08 cm2), and VL CSA (0.19 ± 0.09 cm2) and small effect (ES = 0.89–1.13) for RF CSA (0.17 ± 0.15 cm2) and VI CSA (0.16 ± 0.18 cm2). No significant differences were found in the changes of CSA between muscles (F = 0.638, p = 0.593). However, the squat 1RM gain was significantly associated only ...
