The signal is here understood as a basic disparity expressing the tension between different levels of materiality constituting the present matter of concern: a process of aesthetic subjectivation (Rabbia), a sociopolitical formation of collectivity (Virno ), and the recombinant potential of the digital code (Munster). I explore the signaletic condition in terms of both its generative potential, as well as its ambivalent limit of actualization.

My aim is to explore the generative potential of indeterminancy in terms of a conceptual apparatus allowing for a mutative idea of epistemics. A brief detour into recent results from quantum physics and considerations about conditions of transformation of philosophical concepts into an ethicoaesthetic realm, seek to place the theoretical considerations into the pragmatic context of knowledge production. The article concludes by drawing aesthetic inferences from this idea of knowledge.

By means of this strategical shift, theory looses its character of explanation and illustration. Philosophy as toy becomes rather the matter of evaluating the complexity of a specific artistic composition in terms of its aesthetic potential. It contributes towards developing metastable conditions of mutual resonance between heterogeneous modalities of creation.
