This article presents several ways of managing input data from different perspectives and the pos... more This article presents several ways of managing input data from different perspectives and the possibilities to use them on several interpolation methods and calibration techniques applied to a given data set. These techniques have been applied in order to obtain a better estimate of the temperature in a given geographical area. In order to determine the most accurate result, several analyses have been conducted on the identification of the temperature with the least deviation rate. As ways of measurement, several weather stations were first taken into consideration, whereupon this number increased exponentially, and eventually, calculations were made with the sole purpose of finding the minimum cumulative deviations from a certain point. By looking at the results, it follows that at least one of these data management methods, which constitutes a perspective in itself, can be used as a means to improve its appliance to methods of estimating linear weight, techniques and more. Moreover, in the technological era, an automatic selection for taking in reception the best value from the applied perspectives was developed and implemented. This selection offers a better disclosure for the most coherent information, template revealing and comparison to the latest results.

A new linear weighting method and a calibration technique tested comparatively to the proposed li... more A new linear weighting method and a calibration technique tested comparatively to the proposed linear method and to inverse distance weighting method are analyzed. The proposed methods are tested for temperature estimation in inter weather stations regions, with cumulative minimum deviations from the real values. The analysis reveals that for some weather stations configurations, with certain statistical characteristics, the linear method is more efficient than the optimal parameterized inverse distance weighting method. The methods can be also used in the estimation of other spatially distributed parameters.

In the southwestern part of Romania, in the Oraviţa Depression, which is included in the Banat hi... more In the southwestern part of Romania, in the Oraviţa Depression, which is included in the Banat historical region, there is a low altitude air circulation in the cold season. Under certain conditions of atmospheric pressure, it generates a catabatic wind (Coşava), with strong increases in speed at blast. The wind speed, which often exceeds 10 m / s, causes sometimes-massive damage to property.

In some situations, field positioning of air pressure through development of anticyclone in the n... more In some situations, field positioning of air pressure through development of anticyclone in the north - northeast of Romania and a cyclone in the south-west, create conditions favoring intensifying dynamics of air masses in Oraviţa Depression area. This phenomenon generates a catabatic wind which is known local as Coşava. Mode of expression is as strong intensification of the burst, which gives rise to considerable material damages. This study takes into account the analysis of three cases considered by us to be representative.
