In this paper multiple brokers that work in the same domain have been introduced so that the performance of the system has been enhanced and the number of requests that the grid can process has been increased clearly.

The mechanical properties of aluminum alloys are defined by a number of principal microstructural features. Conventional mathematical models of these properties are sometimes very complex to be analytically calculated. In this paper, a neural network model is used to predict the correlations between the hardness of aluminum alloys in relation to certain alloying elements. A backpropagation neural network is trained using a thorough dataset. The impact of certain elements is documented and an optimum structure is proposed.

Each digital signal is associated with the local binary pattern (LBP) histogram; this histogram will be calculated based on LBP operator, then k-means clustering was used to generate the required features for each digital signal. The proposed method was implemented, tested and the obtained experimental results were analyzed. The results showed the flexibility and accuracy of the proposed method. Althoug different parameters of the digital signal were changed during implementation, the results obtained showed the robustness of the proposed method.

FIR filter design can be considered as an optimization problem. In this paper an estimation method of FIR filter parameters is proposed. The method relies on establishing a relationship between the signal input parameters and the filter parameters. An FIR lowpass filter was implemented and tested using various parameter values. The results showed efficient performance characteristics of FIR lowpass filters.

The country is almost entirely reliant on rainfall, whose pattern, however, is highly variable in terms of its frequency, regularity, and quantity. Evidently, therefore, the ability to anticipate rainfall accurately is critically important for the effective planning and management of water resources in Jordan, and particularly in agricultural areas. Influenced by a range of factors such as temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed, rainfall is a stochastic process. This paper suggests the use of a fuzzy model that draws upon data gathered at 26 stations situated in a range of locations throughout Jordan. The model is capable of forecasting seasonal rainfall relating to a specific station. Its ability to deliver predictions with an acceptable degree of accuracy has been demonstrated, and it can be concluded from this that the fuzzy technique can provide a model that is capable of efficiently forecasting seasonal rainfall.

Brain tumors classification in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is very important in medical diag... more Brain tumors classification in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is very important in medical diagnosis. Most of the current conventional diagnosis techniques are based on human experience in interpreting the MRI-scan for classification. This paper presents an automated method based on backpropagation neural network (BPNN) for classification of the MRI of a human brain. The proposed method utilizes wavelet transform (WT) as a feature extraction tool of the MRI. Â The proposed method follows two steps: feature extraction and classification. WT is first employed for decomposing the image into different levels of approximate and detailed coefficients and then these coefficients are fed into a BPNN for further classification and tumor detection. The proposed method has been applied on several MRI scans, and the results showed an acceptable accuracy of classification.

The local binary pattern (LBP) is a texture descriptor that is simple and efficient. LBP has been utilized in many applications in image processing field such as face recognition, pattern recognition and feature extraction. In this paper, a modified LBP method was proposed to extract texture features. The proposed algorithm was implemented on many digital images and the local structure features of these images were obtained. Several image recognition experiments are conducted on these features and compared with other algorithms. The results of the proposed algorithm showed that the digital image was represented in a very small size and furthermore the speed and accuracy of image recognition based on the proposed method was increased significantly.

Rainfall prediction is a challenging area of investigation for scientists. In this paper, a precipitation prediction model using artificial neural networks (ANNs) is proposed. The seasonal amount of rainfall in several areas in Jordan is predicted using rainfall rate time-series data, these rainfall rate data has been recorded from 26 stations located in different areas in Jordan. A feed forward ANN based on backpropagation (BP) is designed and trained to predict the future rainfalls in Jordan. Results are encouraging and accurate for rainfall prediction in Jordan.

Feature Selection (FS) is commonly used to reduce dimensionality of text datasets with huge number of features which would be difficult to process further. In this paper we have implemented an efficient feature selection algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to improve the performance of Arabic text categorization. PSO is a search algorithm that employs a population of particles existing within a multi-dimensional space. We have used Radial Basis Function (RBF) networks as a text classifier. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared to the performance of document frequency, tf×idf and Chi-square statistic algorithms. Simulation results on the Arabic dataset show the superiority of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, we introduced a new aggregator system to combine all billing system types, in which it is possible to pay invoices electronically. The proposed aggregator system was designed to be employed in a cloud-based billers hub (CBBH) developed by the central banks. Furthermore, many applications can be realized such as; deposit e-money, withdrawal e-money, and other applications. A Gateway translator is used to apply authentication rules, security, and privacy. The proposed system was employed in the Jordanian payment gateway and successfully fulfills its purpose.

Hence, it is critical to evaluate the functionality of these websites which are expected to support growing business needs. The evaluation of the functionality of E-commerce websites is not a straightforward process due to the many constraints and standards that should be considered. Fuzzy logic is a powerful technique used in modeling impreciseness and uncertainties. This paper proposes a Mamdani fuzzy system that evaluates the functionality of E-commerce websites over different parameters: accuracy, flexibility, client support, and availability of product information. Experimental results provide positive relations between accuracy and flexibility on the functionality of E-commerce websites.

All disadvantages of existing assessment systems are taken into account during the development and analysis phases. The most important estimated parameters are determined. This method is based on quantitative methods of expert evaluation, which gives the advantage: there is no need to collect large amounts of statistical data and clear formalization of the current situation.
