For the marinade:
2/3 cup white miso paste
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup mirin
2.5Tbsp sambal

-Whisk together miso, sugar, and sambal until incorporated.
-Slowly whisk in the sake.
-Once the sake is whisked in add the mirin.
-Marinate salmon portions for at least 6 hours, up to 48 hours.
-Place marinated salmon on a foil lined sheet tray. Cook on your ovens highest broil setting until the top is nicely caramelized.
-Serve with sesame seed and scallions. Enjoy.

Sometimes marinades can be the hardest thing to think of. I love my salmon ‘Asian Style’, and this miso marinade was delicious.

This is the perfect weeknight meal, that is healthy and simple. Best served with some noodles or rice and greens! 

Ingredients 
Serves 6

* 6 salmon fillets 
* 2 tablespoons miso paste 
* 3 tablespoons soy sauce 
* 1 tablespoon honey 
* 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
* 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar 
* 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds (to serve) 
* 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds (to serve) 
* 2 tablespoons spring onion, finely sliced (to serve) 

1. Simply mix all your marinade ingredients together until well combined and spoon on top of your salmon.
