So I’m planning a “red fabric square swap” in January for anyone who wants to join! (More details to come later) I made this quilt 10 years ago when I was just learning to quilt. I pieced and quilted it on a tiny 3/4-size #Bernina sewing machine that I bought when I graduated from high school. And this quilt is still in my top 5 favorite quilts today. It was simple to make - I used 5” squares that I sewed into HST’s, and then trimmed down to 4.5” (making a 4” finished block). I finished this at 80”x80” - I couldn’t handle quilting anything bigger than that on my little machine.
