In his short trilingual Preface (removed), the editor stresses he has based his edition on the first edition of Estienne Roger in Amsterdam, and Walsh in London, combining both in order to eliminate slips of pen and errata. The optional printed bass part for Cello or Gamba is not included in this double submission.
