When we bought it, it actually had a good red paint finish but I'm not into red furniture so let's make it over. First, I removed all the red paint and the primer that was underneath. I used a couple of coats of citrus strip to remove the paint and primer layers. Then I scrubbed off the residue with some Mineral Spirits and Still Wool. And after it was all dry, here's what we were left with. I'm not really a fan of the way that the bottom of the dresser looks so I unscrewed it. Drew a new design on it and cut the more modern design out with my jigsaw.
