Happy Thursday everyone! I'm over on the MarkerPOP blog today, and I'm so excited to share a CAS card using products from Altenew, one of my favorite stamping companies! CAS is my go-to style and I really love it...hope you enjoy it too ;)
I started by die cutting 3x the rounded tag from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Essentials 1 die set, using Neenah Solar White card stock. Then, using an ink blending tool, I applied Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, & Salty Ocean Distress Inks across the middle of each tag, and also on the tiny die cut hearts included in the die set. The butterflies are from the Altenew Botanical Garden set, and were stamped on the tags using Versafine Black Onyx Ink. The sentiment, from Altenew's Label Love set, was stamped in the same ink and fussy cut and mounted with Foam Tape.
A
strip of black and white striped paper was adhered to the card base,
then the tags and sentiment adhered on top of that. Super simple card to
create! I hope I've inspired you today. Hope you get some crafty time
in soon! ;)

Hello! Welcome to the July Uniko Challenge #34. We have another fun challenge this month to spark your creativity...
All the flowers and leaves are stamped and fussy cut, then arranged to make a large bouquet. Hello! Hope you are all having a fabulous week! Before
we get to my card, I first just want to say I've had a great time on
the Honey Bee Stamps team! This is my last post as a Design Team member,
and I've really enjoyed working with these gorgeous stamps and working
with some great team members! I'll definitely miss it. Thanks to
Melissa for allowing me to be a part of the fun and growth of Honey Bee.
I look forward to seeing what will come in the future!
Today I have a super CAS card. I started by die cutting the vertical sides of the main panel with a scalloped die. Then, the three honeycomb shapes from Sweet as Honey was stamped right in the middle, followed by the flowers, leaves, accent dots (all from Country Wreath), and sentiment (Sweet as Honey) in Archival Black Ink. Using two shades of color for each flower, I colored them in using Prismacolor Pencils. The leaves use three different shades of green. The main panel was attached to the card base using foam tape to give it the added touch of dimension.
Thanks for stopping in today! Enjoy your day and hope it involves some crafty time ;)

Hello crafty friends! I'm here to share a fun Graduation card using Honey Bee stamps.
Since it's graduation season, I'm sure there are many of us in need of
graduation cards for those special grads in our lives! I had to think
outside the box for this one, and I am very happy with how it turned
out!
Using the Brush Grunge Alpha stamp set, I spelled out "Way to Go!" in the center of the white panel. The vertical sides are die cut using a Top Dog Dies border die. Then, using the brush stroke, open star and solid star from Brush Grunge Alpha, I randomly stamped all around the sentiment. I also used the teeny tiny solid star from the Country Wreath stamp set and stamped it using black ink to fill in some of the gaps. Finally, some black and white striped paper was added underneath the top and bottom of the white panel. I think it gives it a perfect added touch!
I hope you've enjoyed my project today! Have a great weekend!

Hey there! So I was looking through my blogger posts and realized that this post that I posted on the Honey Bee Stamps blog awhile ago was never published on my own blog! So....here you go, LOL!
So, do you ever get really frustrated and just sit at your craft desk and go ’round and ’round and you just can’t get the right placement or color scheme for your project?! Well, that’s exactly what happened to me here. I had an idea for the basic layout, and had a few flowers stamped and fussy cut, but it was just NOT working. I figured out that I wasn’t using a color combo that is typical for me, and it was really throwing me off! Once I decided on the blue, pink, and purple flowers you see below, the layout came together so nicely! I am LOVING this card!
The polka dots are a patterned paper, and the black and white card stock panels are both die cut using a borderline die. The “congrats” sentiment was created using the Brush Grunge Alpha set…such a versatile set!! Before adhering the fussy cut flowers, I stamped three large leaves on the white panel. Using the tiny solid heart from the Cherish stamp set, I stamped a few around the cluster of flowers and leaves. I love that added detail! A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins add a bit of shine!

Greetings crafty friends! I don't know about you, but it sure seems like
Mother's Day is sneaking up on us! I can't believe it's right around the
corner. I knew I had to get going on some Mother's Day cards, so that's
what I'm sharing with you today!
I've created this CAS one layer card using Honey Bee Stamps Happy Everything, Country Wreath, and Hand Lettered Alpha - all of these are new sets and available to purchase in the shop! I started by stamping the sentiment using the fabulous MISTI tool. Then, I lightly drew a curved line with a pencil as a guide for the flowers and leaves. After stamping all the flowers, leaves, and accents in grey ink to match the sentiment, I used distress markers to color them in. Some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finishes it off!
Thanks for stopping in today! Hope you have a fabulous rest of your week!

Happy Saturday everyone! Just popping in today to share one card that I forgot to post last week, and to also share the news that the 4 Brand New Honey Bee Stamp Sets are NOW AVAILABLE to purchase in the Honey Bee Shop!!! I hope you were able to participate in the blog hop throughout the week to see some amazing projects using the new sets! It definitely was a fun week ;) Below you can see the 4 new sets!
This card uses the new Camera Love stamp set. The theme of this one is photography, something I know all of you scrapbookers out there LOVE! This set is super cute, with several different sketched camera images and lots of photography related words. (Honey Bee Stamps collaborated on this stamp set with Melissa Goble designs. Melissa was chosen to draw the cameras and images for this stamp set. Aren’t they cute!)
My card is pretty clean and simple. I started by ink blending the bottom of the card base with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink and a foam blender. On separate pieces of card stock, I ink blended the orange/yellow background (Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade), and the pink background (Picked Raspberry). Then I stamped the camera images in Archival Black ink on top of the blended backgrounds and fussy cut them. Before adhering the cameras to the card base, I used the long rectangular dashed line and created a little pattern over the pistachio background, and also stamped the live laugh love sentiment. A variety of hearts were stamped on the card base for that extra special detail!

Hello there crafty friends! I hope you’ve been enjoying this fun week
celebrating the Honey Bee 1st Birthday! Make sure to hop along and leave
comments on the DT blogs for a chance to win some awesome prizes!
Today I’m sharing a card that uses stamps from two new sets that are being revealed this week, Bless Your Heart and Country Wreath. The flowers were first heat embossed with gold embossing powder on watercolor paper. Then I water colored them with Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, and Abandoned Coral. I fussy cut each one and layered them on the card base. The textured stripes on the bottom of the card were dry embossed with an embossing folder, then a piece of twine wrapped around it then adhered to the card base.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a great rest of your week! Happy crafting :)

Hello! Today I'm sharing my first project using Uniko's new stamp set
called "Fun Flowers". Beginning April 11th, 2016, you will be able to
purchase this set HERE along with one other new set being released this month!
In case you missed it a few days ago, here is the Sneak Peek photo of the stamp set.
I'm loving this card! The flower was stamped onto a piece of watercolor card stock, then colored in with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and watercolored. Once dry, I fussy cut it. The black leaves were stamped on a separate sheet of card stock and fussy cut as well. The sentiment was stamped directly on the card base in a rich black ink. I used a corner rounder punch on the bottom right edge of the card for a tad more detail!
I hope
you've enjoyed my CAS card today! Be sure to check
over on the UNIKO BLOG for inspiration from Bev and the other design team members!! Stop back here tomorrow for the big release day!

called "Celebrate with Cake". Beginning April 11th, 2016, you will be able to
purchase this set HERE along with one other new set being released this month!
My card is super sweet and super simple! The background pattern was created using a light ink and I stamped the cupcakes randomly to cover the card base. Then all the light blue stars were stamped.
I die cut a circle from white card stock. The cupcake and stars were stamped in the center and then adhered to the card base with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was stamped right underneath the circle.
I hope you've enjoyed my project today! Tomorrow is another Introducing post, and then Monday is the full reveal and release day! Be sure to check over on the UNIKO BLOG for inspiration from Bev and the other design team members!!

Hello there! I'm here today with a one-layer card using a few of the new Honey Bee stamp sets that will be released in just a couple weeks!!
I started by die cutting a circle out of masking paper. After attaching that to the card base, I blended two distress inks, Evergreen Bough and Shaded Lilac, to create the solid circle as the background for the other elements.
The masking paper was removed and then I used the MISTI tool to line up the “you are such a blessing” sentiment exactly where I wanted it. Then, I added some leaves and accents around the edge of the circle. A handful of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins were added for the finishing touch!
So glad you stopped by today!

Happy Friday everyone! It's a special day today because I've got a
sneak peek of just some of the new Honey Bee Stamps that are being released very
soon! :D
I've created this birthday card using an awesome new sentiment set and a wreath set that has lots of options for different occasions. This is a simple one layer card. The wreath was created by first stamping the light brown wreath, then the dark brown bow. Then, I stamped each cluster of flowers and leaves until the wreath looked full! Pretty simple and easy! There are endless combinations that can be created with the wreath set.
I hope I've inspired you, and hope you can squeeze some crafty time in today!

Happy Thursday crafty friends! I've got a card today featuring the Sweet as Honey
stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps. I really love this set because there are so many different
images, which means SOOO many different possibilities for cards,
scrapbook pages, pocket pages, etc!
The bees and sentiment were stamped with Archival black ink, and the bees were colored in using Distress Markers. The honeycomb pattern was stamped on the card base, and the two panels layered over that were die cut with a stitched edge die. I felt that it still needed a little something, so I added the small rainstones in between each bee for some shine and dimension!
I hope you've enjoyed my project today....so glad you stopped by! Happy Crafting!

Hello crafty friends! I've got a simple but sweet Honey Bee Stamps card for you today. I
started by die cutting a circle out of watercolor paper, and a circle
frame out of black and cream striped paper. The flowers, sentiment, and
bee are all from the Sweet as Honey
stamp set. They were all stamped with Archival black ink. Using
distress markers, I colored in the flowers and used a water brush to
create a watercolor look. The circle panel is attached to the card base
using foam tape for some dimension. The base was sprayed with the Tim
Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer Tool using Black Soot.
So glad you stopped by today! I hope I've brought some inspiration to you!

So here is my creation! This gorgeous flower from BB III is so versatile! So many different color combinations you can use, use the flower by itself, use the flower and one leaf/vine, etc. I received a MISTI for Christmas and it was absolutely PERFECT to use for this stamp set. Soooo helpful to line up all the layers! The "Anniversary" sentiment was white heat embossed on a stitched die cut, then popped up with foam tape. The word "BLESSINGS" is from the Some Bunny stamp set. Some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins added a perfect finishing touch!

Good morning! Today I have a totally cool CAS card to share with you. I'm loving working with Honey Bee stamps....such fun stuff! ;) I
started with the sentiment. Isn't the word "Baby" just fabulous?! Love
it. Underneath that, I stamped the scarf, and then the "let's snuggle
up". It's from the Flakey Sentiments
set, but I had to get creative and put the "let" in front of "snuggle
up", then ink up just the "s" in "snuggle" to add it at the end of
"let". Then I just drew in the apostrophe. I think it's such a cute
sentiment! The scarf was colored in using some ink and a waterbrush.
Using several hearts from different stamp sets, I randomly stamped them, using both blue and red inks. A few snowflakes were added as well. For some finishing touches, I added Glossy Accents to the red hearts, and some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins! The main panel is mounted to the base with foam tape.
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch! Love it!
I hope you have enjoyed my creation today, and thanks for popping in to see me!

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a wonderful celebration to ring in the new year, and are enjoying a lazy day doing whatever you want! Stamping? Scrapbooking? Watching movies? :D
I can't get enough of the new Flakey Friends, More Flakey Friends, and Flakey Sentiments stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps!! These guys are just TOOOO Cute and fun to play with. Out of all four 'critters', I think the Penguin is my fav. My card is pretty simple.
Since I didn't include any embellishments, I wanted to give a little dimension to the card. When I glued the penguins down, I just glued the bottom 1/3 so the top part sticks out a little.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and best wishes for a GREAT start in 2016!!

Good morning! I'm so glad you stopped by today because we have the Uniko Design
Team Countdown to Christmas Blog Hop! Since I didn't receive my Nov release stamps in time for release day (as well as a few others), Bev over at Uniko decided to put on this extra
Design Team blog hop. So, please enjoy all the inspiration!
In addition to what Bev is sharing on the Uniko blog, she also has more projects HERE on the website blog. Make sure to check those out as well!!!
My first card uses many layers, a style I typically don't use since I'm a true CAS girl at heart ;) But I really wanted to try out the Viva Decor Mother of Pearl Modelling Creme with a stencil. Can you see it?? It's the layer with the shimmery dots! I absolutely LOVE this look!! I will definitely be using it on more cards. The trees are stamped on separate card stock and masked to make it look like the outlined tree is behind the other two. I LOVE that Merry Christmas font, don't you?!?!
Here, I have a mostly one layer card. The bells and poinsettia are both stamped separately and fussy cut. The bells were gold embossed and then watercolored with distress ink.
Remember,
simply visit & comment along the hop by midnight Saturday, December 5th to be in the chance of winning the ENTIRE release! The WINNER
will be announced Sunday, December 6th.
Nicki ----> That's Me!

Here's what I came up with. My style is CAS most of the time, so I definitely decided to use the optional CAS twist! I really love how this turned out!
The card base is layered with striped patterned paper. The white panel is die cut with a border die, and for added interest, I put it on an angle. LOVE that look! The sentiment is stamped very strategically so that the bottom loop of the "y" nested right in one of the scallops of the die cut edge. The holly leaves were stamped on a separate piece of card stock and fussy cut and popped up using foam tape. I used a corner rounder for the top right corner, and a fun glittery, gold cord finishes it off in the folded part of the card.
I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, which is Christmas!

What do you think?! I'm lovin' the font of the sentiments in the Essentially Christmas set!! So trendy and I think they are stunning with red ink!

Now, on to the really fun part! Here is my card for this challenge.
Now, this challenge is totally ME! I love the clean lines and simplicity of geometric shapes. I used several Background Builder sets on this card (see full supply list below). First, I die-cut a stitched border panel with white cardstock. I drew a vertical and horizontal guideline for the 4 sections. Then, doing one section at a time, I masked it off, stamped a pattern with Versamark ink, then heat embossed with white EP. Once it was all embossed, I masked off a section at a time and ink blended using Distress Inks. I LOVE this card so much. It was so fun to watch the rich colors blend so smoothly onto the card stock.
The sentiment is heat embossed with white EP onto black cardstock. Both pieces are adhered using foam tape for some dimension!
What do you think?! Would you ever try a design like this?
