Perang Aceh tidak berakhir pada 1904, tetapi berakhir pada 1942. Silahkan lihat Paul Van't Veer dalam De Atjeh Oorlog yang edisi Indonesianya berjudul Perang Belanda di Aceh. Si Gam Acèh 11:42, 8 Mei 2008 (UTC)

Ya, memang itu yang benar kalau tidak salah, karena gerilyawan baru berhenti berperang saat Jepang masuk. Namun 1904 Aceh tunduk, mungkin perlu dikasih tambahan, biar Aceh takluk, masih ada gerilyawan yang berjuang sampai 1942  Mimihitam   Bicara  12:08, 8 Mei 2008 (UTC)

Kalau Perang Aceh-Belanda, iyya benar berakhir tahun 1942. Tetapi Perang Aceh termasuk juga perang melawan Nippon yang baru berakhir tahun 1945.

Tidak penyerahan kedaulatan dari Sultan Aceh yang terakhir. Versi Sultan Aceh menandatangani surat penyerahan kedaulatan kepada Belanda sangat digemari oleh penulis-penulis Indonesia, padahal fiktif belaka. Aceh Viking (bicara) 29 September 2019 05.46 (UTC)
