In this opportunity we will learn how to make these small star appliques that can be used in almost any project. They would be perfect in a baby blanket, in a sweater or in a nice hat for the cold. We would love to make a blanket that has three of these pretty stars on the corners of its edges, with a cord, as if it were a garland, it's just an idea, it all depends on your taste and creativity. What we are sure of is that it is a very simple project, perfect for beginners.

This is an easy pattern to make a small star applique. The size of your hook and yarn will determine the size of the end result. I used a H/5mm hook with worsted weight yarn and my star is about 2.5 inches across from point to opposite point. Perfect for sewing on to just about anything! If you want your star smaller, use a smaller hook and/or a lighter yarn. For a larger star, use a larger hook and/or thicker yarn.
