All you'll need is a few quarts of colorful paint

This old, ugly, and yellowed drop ceiling was painted over in black and white, checkered style, contrasting with this beautiful, bright "reddish"/orange accent wall. All walls in this room had 2 layers of really old wallpaper, that had to be stripped out, walls to be patched, sanded, and primed, prior to the painted.
