Rest assured dear reader; I would never consider doing anything like that...Ben received his first master's degree at age 13 and went on to achieve 4 more prior to getting his PhD at 19 followed by his MD at 21, much like Doogie Howser. Ben holds the current shot-put record for men over 45 weighing less than 250 lbs. Ben is a competitive F1 driver for both Mercedes and Ferrari, often racing for both in the same event. In everyone else's reality; Ben barely made it out of high school and was almost of legal age to buy beer when he finally did. He sobered up early which allowed him to get that much coveted diploma. He went on to 'pursue a career' in manual labor which was cut short due to injury forcing him to sit at a desk for his mini- mum wage. While Ben's current peers were getting degrees and advanced degrees Ben caught a lot of fish on his fly-rod and climbed a bunch of rock and ice. These activities led him to his real claim to fame, the breaking of 34 bones, not including fingers and toes of course. Keep his 11 diagnosed concussions in mind while reading, he really is trying, bless his heart. He joined the field in 2007 when he was 11 years sober and now runs several companies, all related to behavioral health, that are successful only because he is good at hiring people who are much smarter than he is.In addition to those companies Ben speaks live to about 20k people a year on this and similar subjects. He assists multiple collegiate athletic programs as well as professional athletic teams with crisis management and education for substance abuse and addiction. All these work activities keep getting in the way of his fishing but seeing the magic that is recovery and being able to help in some of life's most desperate moments makes that worth it.He also gave a TEDx talk that got picked up by TED and fea- tured as the talk of the week that a bunch of people watched. He thinks numbers of clicks and social media are silly. His beat up old body tolerates fishing and some archery hunt- ing but not much else when he isn't working. If one can read too much Ben probably does.lihat lebih sedikit
