We have some unsalted butter. Brown sugar. Two tablespoons. Cinnamon going right on top of our apples and our skillet. Wow, this smells delicious. We have a little bit of nutmeg just to give it that extra kick. Little poop there. Mmm that smells like fall. I love it. Cloves. I love the little bit of extra yumminess that cloves brings. That is such a great great flavor and we're going to spice it up with some pumpkin spices Pumpkin spice goes so well with apples. Yummy. A splash of vanilla going in with these apples just for a nice sweet treat Beautiful. Let's give this a mix. Get all that butter melted. Get our apples all soft. Yum. This is going to make your house smell amazing and you can see the way that the sugar is caramelizing in our warm pan. That is exactly what we want. We want these apples to be coated with that brown sugar and butter mixture. Gorgeous. Gonna go ahead and let this simmer. Okay, these apples look incredible. They are sizzling and they are getting soft and the aromas are divine. We have our cinnamon buns here and we're just going to take our cinnamon rolls and place them right on top of our apples just like that. Delicious. These are the grands. These are the big ones. You can use the mini ones but the mini ones don't swirl and I just really wanted that visual of the cinnamon swirl on there. Wow, that looks great. I do have a second can because I really want to fill this up. Right in the middle there and I think we can snuggle one more in there. So, we're just going to go ahead and place one last cinnamon roll right in just like that. Wow, that is awesome. Gonna go ahead and lift this right off. It is ready to go into the oven. It is set at three fifty. Bye bye little cinnamon rolls. Okay, so this was in the oven about 15 to 20 minutes just like it says on the Pillsbury instructions for the cinnamon rolls and then I did let it cool just a bit. Wow. Oh beautiful This apple upside down cake turned out gorgeous you guys. This is stunning. So, the cinnamon rolls came with our frosting glaze. So, we're just going to go ahead and use that. We don't want to be wasteful. So, we're just going to give it a sweet little drizzle there. Gorgeous. That is so beautiful. Delicious and you can make this for breakfast or you can make this for dessert like this is just one of those versatile fall fabulous treats and it makes it really fall when you add a little bit of that caramel, right? We want that caramel swirl, apple caramel, such a great combo. Beautiful. Love it. So gourmet. Alright, let's cut a slice out. I just really can't wait to have a bite of this. It's almost like a pull-apart bread with those rolls. So, so good. Yum. It is cooked perfectly. Those cinnamon rolls are so so fluffy. What's going to really go great with this you guys is some vanilla ice cream. So I'm just going to go ahead and grab a scoop. If you like a different kind of ice cream you guys just let me know what ice cream you would use. I think vanilla is a great compliment to the apples and the cinnamon but perhaps it's chocolate for you or maybe you want that caramel pecan swirl or whatever ice cream. Wow look at that. Mm hmm. And you guys know me I can't have dessert without chocolate. So we're layering on that chocolate because why not? Yes. Mm hmm. That chocolate is a yes for me and of course pumpkin spice. Bam That is gorgeous. Alright, let's dig in and have a bite, shall we? Oh, yummy. Look at that cinnamon roll. It is perfect. I'm going to grab a chunk of that apple. Mmm, you know, I heard that the skin on the apple is the healthiest part. So, I leave those skins on when I bake with my apples. Mmm. It smells so so good. That was so good.
