Kite cards

Hi Stampers, Here's another card we made at my last class using Swirly Bird. Everyone had fun sponging clouds - it's so satisfying! The kites are so much fun to stamp and cute on their own merits, but they really pop on the cloud background. Check out my May 31 blog post to see how we made the clouds. If you had the choice of making a card with mostly stamps or mostly dies, which would you choose? Is that a tough question? Or did you have an answer right away? I *think* most days, I might actually say die-cutting, even though I've been a stamper for far longer than a die-cutter. Lisa's HYCCT challenge for today is to create a card that has something that is in the air. I created a card with birds, clouds and kites with an encouraging sentiment. I paper pieced the kites with some scraps of dp that I had in my statsh.
