The furniture is completely bespoke, made with premium quality products and saves you so much money by fitting and finishing the product yourself (following a super easy fitting sequence!) See below process for the bespoke effect: -base built from wood to lift wardrobes off the ground. -skirting is carried along the front of base to conceal it and blend the wardrobes into the room. -doors made from MDF with help from a joiner -pelmet from b&q added to top of wardrobes to make it look like a genuine period feature of the room. - beading/trims added to front of doors to make them look Victorian. - door fronts for drawers made using MDF and beading to match the wardrobe door fronts. -sides of wardrobe didn’t need padding out (unlike master bedroom) as the wardrobe wasn’t within an alcove. Beth Wilson on Instagram: "FITTED UNIT IKEA HACK 🚪 our fitted unit hack is finally finished! we wanted built in units in our lounge but didn’t fancy paying the expensive price tag that is associated with it, so decided to give it a go ourselves using @ikeauk units and doors, some wood and MDF. we used the PLATSA units and got some extendable legs from @bandq_uk to raise the unit high enough off the ground. we also cut some of the unit out to make sure we can still reach the plugs at the back of the wall. once it was in place, we cut wood and mdf to size to box the units in and give it the ‘fitted’ look. we used mdf sheet for the top of the unit, and then painted and primed it all to finish it in white ✨ we were kindly gifted the beautiful Piccadilly Knurled Cupboard Knobs from @frela Ikea Hack Shelves Wall, Built In Storage Wall Ikea, Built In Mdf Shelves, Ikea Hack Cupboard, Diy Alcove Cupboard Ikea, Ikea Beauty Salon Ideas, Built In Storage Cupboard, Ikea Wall Built In Hack, Media Wall Cupboard Doors
