When we're emotionally attached to a person, they begin to feel like a part of us. However, sometimes that feeling can backfire, and it can be draining.

Trying to handle things differently this time. Trying to not get attached or hopes up, no matter what enticing words or gestures a guy uses. Only time & consistency will take my walls down. No matter how genuine they seem, i need to stop letting guys into my circles b4 they've earned it consistently, & not let my other amazing options go. Either a guy is all in, or it's not real until it's real. Gotta be compassionate, respectful, but also smart.
