She makes each one by hand, one at a time, so each basket is unique.
As Rose says, "they each have their own look, just
like people".

ReplyDeleteIn the eighties and early nineties there were many basket makers - not so many anymore - and the Farmhouse has one of the most skilled and inventive.

I have always loved baskets, and Rose's baskets look beautiful. I so admire anyone that can make them. I took a basket class once and decided sewing was much easier. Rose, your baskets are just awesome!!!
