Paper Temptress Stamping Bella

This cutie comes from the KETTO stamps at Stamping Bella. I just love these girls. I used wonderful papers from the Paper Temptress. This was a card to use more of the wonderful Crystal Clear paper. As you can see, I actually used cuttlebug to emboss the clear (it embosses WONDERFULLY!), then used brads to attach it to the spirit red felt weave. On top I used a nestabilites octagon cut to trim several layers of the black retro lustre paper.I think it came out nicely. The black retro paper really sparkles in the light. It's a must have in my paper collection

Project Materials: Cardstock (Paper Temptress-Retro Black Glossy Lustre, Red Spirit Feltweave, Neenah Classic white solar crest, Crystal clear); Brads (Queen&Co); Embossing folder(Cuttlebug); Nestabilities(Octogan); Stamp (Stamping Bella); Ink (Memento); Pop Dots;

I love Raggedy Ann....

I love Raggedy Ann. I got this cute image from Whipper Snapper Stamps. I did her in red and pink. I guess it looks much like a valentine theme, but I also have a lot of love to send out right now. I used stamping ink on the white flowers as well but gently rubbing the flowers over the ink pads. Not much, but enough to give the flowers a tiny color.

I am off today to get my hair cut. I thought I would wait until it had grown out more, but it's getting too long! Can you believe I am saying that? so I guess I will just have to tell her to work around the surgery area and do what she thinks is best.

Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, Neenah); Stamp (Whipper Snapper); Ink (Memento; Colorbox Chalk); Flowers (Imagination); Brads (unknown); Adhesive (Popdots, glue dots); Color (Copic Markers);

Flowers for You!

Here's a beautiful bouquet of flowers for you today! This is a huge stamp that I used to make an extra tall sized card. The image is called "Daisy Jar" and is made by I Brake For Stamps. It works great on all sorts of cards, but esp. for those spring theme cards. It measures about 4.5"x 2.75" so I make an extra tall card for it to go on.

I used some stunning papers from Paper Temptress for this card, in the back is the Red Columns Paper, layered with the black grandee felt paper and the image is stamped using the heavenly white paper to stamp on. Each layer of paper is mounted together with a slight layer of 1/16" pop dots to make each paper stand out.

Be sure to use the coupon when you go to the I Brake for Stamps websites Save10Holley to get 10% off any order from your stamp selections.

Project Materials: Cardstock(Specialty Papers: Paper Temptress); Rubber Stamp (Daisy Jar: I Brake For Stamps); Ink (Memento); Bling (Skittles); Adhesives (Glue All, Glue Dots, PopDots); Color(Copic Markers);

Have a Magical Day!

I love this stamp, called Dark Sirene, from ching chou kuik's fantasy art collection at Sweet Pea Stamps. This stamp comes from plate #24 and the saying used comes from Plate #21. For this card I stamped the image with Memento black ink and trimmed out the image to remove the background. I colored her with copic markers including coloring over the black hair to give it a dark brown look. I think she is so beautiful that I didn't want to add a lot of extra embellishments, but I do think the image would love fabulous if I had some flowers that matched the color of the flowers in it. You can even use your stamping ink to add extra color to the floral embellishments so they match even better. The bling used on this card are pearls from Queen&Co.

There's a wonderful prize on the blog right now, just scan down to the day "Mar 14th" and sign up for a brand new sheet of stamps from Sweet Pea! I am picking a winner at the end of the month. Someone will get a wonderful prize that will be a brand new sheet of rubber stamps!!

Have a great day everyone!! Hugs, Holley

Pink Beauty

Here's a stunning image from Plate #25 of ching chou kiuk's fantasy art collection. She's called Come Softly. She is so beautiful and would look wonderful in almost any color combination. I love the pink look for her.
This card uses a mica card base which is a beautiful shimmery cardstock. It shines in the light and is just a beautiful background for this stamp. I had decided to color her mostly pink so I selected an assortment of simple pink embellishments to go with the image: prima flowers, basic grey brads, Queens&Co pearls, pink ribbon, and some purple skittles. The image was colored with copic markers and mounted using pop dots to give extra dimension.

All you Sweet Pea lovers, be sure to scroll down to Mar 14th entry, I am giving away a whole sheet of Sweet Pea rubber stamps to one lucky person!! Sign up for the drawing!!

Time for some cake!

Time for some cake! Hope you are having a great week. This week they are supposed to take time to remove a ton of stitches out of my head. Seems like about 60 of them. They go from down the center of my forehead all the way to the back of my head and then to my left side of my head to my head and down to the front of my left side check.

After getting all these removed, I think I deserve a treat!

Paper Temptress Crystal Clear Card

This card is made from a clear sheet that folded in half. I love the way the card looks while it's closed. I layed some objects on the top of the card and other items on the inside of the card. All items were adhered to the crystal clear paper with glue dots.
Here's a photo of the inside of the card. I used nestabilities to cut out the scalloped rectangle. When closed, this rectangle severs as a border for the image. I also put flowers on the top layer of the card. The paper used for the inner layer is called Tuscan sun. I cut out a small rectangle from teh Black Felt Grande and Neenah classic crest where I stamped the image "Hello"
Be sure to take a look at the Paper Temptress website!

Project Materials: Cardstock (Paper Temptress-Crystal Clear, Tuscan Sun, Black Felt Grandee, Neenah Classic White); Nestabilities (Scalloped Rectangle); Vines (Jolee's); Flowers (Prima); Images (Sweet Pea Stamps); Ink (Memento); Color (Copic Markers); Glue dots
