Wow is it Wednesday already!? Time certainly flies when you've got the week off work! I'd better make the most of the other half of the week!

I've been shoooppppinggggggg!!!!!

Much to my dismay (??!) I was forced by Paperchase to spend a LOT of money in there at the weekend.

Sigh.

Still, a crafter's gotta do what a crafter's gotta do!!

So who wants to see what I got? :D

Washi tape and something I've never seen before called Glass Tape! I was rather intrigued so of course I had to get some, and upon further inspection it's actually Sellotape with a pattern on it! how cool!

Random stuff, the big heart thing is on a loop of ribbon! Weird but for 45p why not!

The two sticker packs in the next shot are from Accessorise and the hessian stuff was from Paperchase. It reminds me of the stuff you put under mats to stop them slipping on wooden floors! I promise you it's not though ;)

These were from an Art shop I found wandering round Soho:

bargains!! I've wanted some fine line sharpies for a while!

and finally, a bonus Cat shot, just cos I can! They weren't too happy at being woken up for me to stick a camera in their faces! :) lol

Pile it On - Sparkle and Shine

This week at Pile it on we've gone all Sparkly and shiny!

So I've gone with stickles, gems and black glitter card!

This image is from a designer I've recently discovered called Redonkulous designs!

I've coloured with Prismacolour pencils and inked the edges of the image with Spun sugar distress ink to take the white glare off.

The paper is from dovecraft back to basics collection. 

I've used an aluminium plate effect embossing folder with black magic cardstock and distressed the raised areas so that the blue colour core shows through.

Good morning! For our challenge at AUD Sentiments this fortnight, we're looking to see your Spring/Summer colours (with a sentiment of course!)

We are sponsored by the generous Heart Song Designs, and I've used this sweet fence and birdie image of theirs for my card :)

I've coloured with Prisma pencils and inked the sky and the grass with distress inks.

I've used a memory box die (floral square) and chopped it in half to make the decorative corners along with roses from Wild orchid crafts, and leaves made with an MS punch.

Sentiment is craftwork cards and I believe the paper is Basic Grey :)

Wednesday always brings us a new challenge from My Mums Craft Shop, so let's get to it!!

The theme for this week is It's a Celebration, and our lovely sponsor is Elizabeth Bell! check out her sweet designs :)

I've used this gorgeous LOTV stamp coloured with Prisma Pencils. The edges are inked with distress ink.

The paper is from papermania and I've used a LOTV greeting stamp onto Kraft for the sentiment, punched out with a circle punch. The letters are Thickers ad the gems and star are from stash.

Phew! can't believe we've now reached the end of the fab previews of the Crafty Sentiments new releases, out TOMORROW!!

Crafty Sentiments preview #5

Today brings my penultimate preview (try saying that quickly!) for the Crafty Sentiments new release stamps on the 10th April! 

I've used this gorgeous little sweetie called Sweet Butterfly, coloured with Prisma pencils :)

The papers are from my new First Edition Dreamcatcher paper stack and the flower chain is a memory box die. 

The sentiment is from craftwork cards and the butterfly is an MS punch. 

The dewdrops and ribbon are from stash.

I've added some stickles to the body of the butterfly :)

Crafty Sentiments Day 4 preview

Whew, over halfway through the previews of the new releases at Crafty Sentiments, which are due out on the 10th April!

Today's image from is this little cutie called My Best Friend 

I've coloured with Prisma pencils, and (I believe!) the background paper is First Edition. 

The smaller piece is a scrap from DCWV and the border punch is XCut. The tree branch is a memory box die which I've inked with Walnut stain Distress ink. The sentiment is a stamp from Personal Impressions, which I've punched out with an XCut punch and attached some brads. The card candy is from Craftwork cards.

Crafty Sentiments - Day Three!

Happy Good Friday! Let's hope it is a Good one! 

Today brings day 3 of the Crafty Sentiments new release previews! 

This little sweetie is called Butterflies and Flowers and I've coloured her with Promarkers.

 

The paper is from a Smirk collection and I thought it was perfect to go with the image :) 

The sprig of flowers and the ribbon sliders are memory box dies, and the ribbon and pearls are from stash. The sentiment is a personal impressions stamp.

Crafty Sentiments Preview day 2

Today is the second day of previews of the new release images at Crafty Sentiments!

I am lucky enough to be guest designing for them this week and today I get to show you what I made with this gorgeous image called Doctor Tobey! He and all the others will be released on the 10th April :)

I've coloured him with my Prisma Pencils, and used a Kraft card blank with the corners cut with an inverted corner punch.

The papers are from Papermania and First Edition.

I've used an MS border punch and card candy from craftwork cards.

The sentiment is a Fiskars Stamp and the ribbon is from stash.
