For years, I've had people ask me if I make ribbon quilts. And I've always just said that's not really what I do. But this time, I couldn't say no. Ellen made this fun Cascading Ribbon quilt for her granddaughters graduation gift. She adapted the pattern to make it Queen sized and figured out the math to make the ribbons a smaller scale. Her grand daughter picked the colours and many of the fabrics I recognize as Art Gallery Fabrics. I quilted it with a new pantograph called Windswept. I used black So Fine thread and Ellen brought a 80/20 batting.
