If sensory play moms were honest 🙈. Activity 20 of toddler play and it’s this taste safe gelatin rescue. And my. Toddler. Loved. It. BUT- The gelatin on its own, messy but not too bad. The blended cheerios on their own, messy but not too bad. The two together? MESS. the cereal gets soggy and sticks to everything and whew 😅. This is 100% an outside activity. But my toddler could have played with this all day so I guess it’s a win 😂. #toddlerlife #toddleractivities #toddleractivity #toddlerac Baby Play Activities, Outside Activities, Baby Activities, Toddler Play, Toddler Life, Play Activities, Infant Activities, Sensory Play, Baby Play

As a pediatric occupational therapist and mom, I’ve been on the lookout for a taste-safe putty that’s easy to clean and provides great sensory play.

This recipe has become my favorite because it’s low-mess, less sticky than soaked chia seeds or oobleck, and easy to clean off hands.

The texture is amazing for heavy work, strengthening the intrinsic muscles of the hand, and offering resistance activities that support sensory regulation. I highly recommend this one!

Comment for a list of ingredients if you’d like to make sure you have everything ready to buy!

I'm not sure why I've never filled our sensory bin with cereal before, but it made the perfect taste safe bin for my girls. They loved measuring, mixing, dumping, scooping, and snacking every time I took our bin out to play. Check out all 10 ways we played with this week's Sensory Summer bin!If you
