Olá, Wikimedistas,

Agora no meio de janeiro de 2023, as Diretrizes de Aplicação do Código Universal de Conduta (UCoC, em inglês) passarão por uma segunda votação da comunidade. Isto ocorre após a votação de março de 2022, que indicou a aprovação das Diretrizes de Aplicação por parte da maioria das pessoas que votaram, mas também revelou preocupações importantes. Para que essas preocupações fossem abordadas, o Comitê de Assuntos Comunitários solicitou que os textos em questão fossem revisados.

Liderado por um grupo de pessoas voluntárias, o Comitê de Revisões trabalhou duro revisando os comentários da comunidade e fazendo mudanças no texto. As áreas de preocupação foram atualizadas, tais como requisitos de treinamento, confirmação de compromisso, privacidade e transparência no processo e a legibilidade e traduzibilidade do próprio documento.

As Diretrizes de Aplicação revisadas podem ser vistas aqui, e uma comparação das versões pode ser encontrada aqui.

Como votar?

Será possível votar a partir de 17 de janeiro de 2023 . Esta página no Meta-wiki contém informações sobre como votar usando o SecurePoll.

Quem pode votar?

Os requisitos de elegibilidade para esta votação serão os mesmos utilizados nas eleições do Conselho de Administração da Fundação Wikimedia. Veja mais detalhes na página de informação para votantes. Se você é elegível para votar, basta usar sua conta Wikimedia para acessar o servidor da votação diretamente.

O que acontecerá após esta votação?

Os votos serão escrutinados por um grupo independente de pessoas voluntárias, e os resultados serão publicados na Wikimedia-l, no Fórum da Estratégia de Movimento, no Diff e no Meta-wiki. O Conselho de Administração avaliará o nível de apoio desses resultados, e questões que venham a ser levantadas durante esta nova votação, para tomar uma decisão sobre a ratificação ou revisões adicionais das Diretrizes de Aplicação.

O departamento jurídico da Fundação Wikimedia está organizando um ciclo de feedback com as comunidades para discutir atualizações a serem feitas nos Termos e Condições de Uso da Wikimedia.

Os Termos e Condições de Uso (ToU, em inglês) são os termos legais que regem o uso de sites hospedados pela Fundação Wikimedia. Entre fevereiro e abril estaremos recebendo comentários das comunidades sobre as propostas de alteração ao texto. O documento com as propostas foi traduzido para várias línguas, e comentários poderão ser feitos em qualquer idioma.

Esta atualização ocorre para dar resposta a várias coisas:

• Implementação do Código Universal de Conduta
• Atualização para a licença Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0
• Abordar melhor casos de edições pagas não reveladas
• Alinhar nossos ToU com a legislação atual e leis recentes que afetam a Fundação, incluindo a Lei de Serviços Digitais da União Europeia

A Wikimedia Foundation vai facer probas para comprobar a conmutación entre o seu centro de datos primario e o secundario. O propósito é asegurármonos de que Wikipedia e as outras wikis de Wikimedia poidan seguir en liña mesmo se ocorre un percance moi importante. Para estarmos certos/as de que todo está a funcionar, o departamento de tecnoloxía da Wikimedia necesita fixar un día para facer unha proba. Esta testaxe deberá comprobar se se pode mudar dun centro de datos a outro de maneira fiable. Isto require que moitos equipos de traballo estean preparados para a proba e tamén que estean dispoñibles para solucionar calquera problema inesperado.

Todo o tráfico volverá o 1 marzo. A proba comezará ás 14:00 UTC.

Porén, debido a algunhas limitacións en MediaWiki, mentres se realiza este cambio teñen que deterse todos os traballos de edición. Pedímosche desculpas por estas molestias. Estamos a traballar para minimizalas no futuro.

Durante un período curto de tempo poderás ler, pero non editar, calquera das wikis.

• O mércores 1 marzo 2023 non poderás facer edicións, durante como moito unha hora.
• Se tentas facer edicións ou gardar cambios que fixeras antes durante este tempo, aparecerache unha mensaxe de erro. Contamos que non se perda ningunha das edicións que se realicen durantes eses minutos, pero non podemos garantilo. Se che sae a mensaxe de erro, por favor, espera ata que todo volva á normalidade. Cando iso suceda, xa deberías ser capaz de gardares a edición. Con todo, recomendamos que antes fagas unha copia das túas edicións, polo si ou polo non.

Outras consecuencias:

• As operacións internas que se realicen dentro do sistema irán máis lentas e algunha pode que non se chegue a rematar. As ligazóns vermellas non se actualizarán tan rápido como habitualmente. Se creas un artigo que está ligado desde algún outro lugar, a ligazón seguirá de cor vermella por máis tempo do habitual. Algúns scripts de execución lenta terán que deterse.

Wikimedia Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Ukrainian Institute, has launched the third edition of writing challenge "Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month", which lasts from 1st until 31st March 2023. The campaign is dedicated to famous Ukrainian artists of cinema, music, literature, architecture, design and cultural phenomena of Ukraine that are now part of world heritage. We accept contribution in every language! The most active contesters will receive prizes.

We invite you to take part and help us improve the coverage of Ukrainian culture on Wikipedia in your language! Also, we plan to set up a banner to notify users of the possibility to participate in such a challenge!

A votação das Diretrizes de Aplicação do Código Universal de Conduta, realizada em janeiro de 2023, mostrou uma aprovação majoritária por parte da comunidade, além disso, foram recebidos 369 comentários. Um resumo detalhado desses comentários será publicado em breve. Foram 3097 votantes e 76% de apoio às Diretrizes de Aplicação. Veja as estatísticas de votação no Meta-wiki.

Em comparação com a votação comunitária anterior, realizada em 2022, houve um aumento significativo de pessoas que apoiam o texto revisado das Diretrizes de Aplicação. Neste sentido, o Conselho de Administração entendeu que a versão atual das Diretrizes foi capaz de integrar algumas das questões levantadas durante a primeira votação, e portanto decidiu pela sua ratificação. A ratificação das Diretrizes de Aplicação do Código Universal de Conduta foi decidida pelo Conselho através de uma votação interna que recebeu apoio unânime. A equipe do projeto do Código Universal de Conduta terminou de analisar os comentários feitos pelas pessoas que participaram da votação de ratificação das Diretrizes de Aplicação revisadas do Código Universal de Conduta.

Todas as pessoas que participaram da votação tiveram a oportunidade de fazer comentários sobre os conteúdos das Diretrizes de Aplicação revisadas. Um total de 369 participantes deixou comentários em 18 línguas; já na primeira votação, realizada em 2022, 657 pessoas fizeram comentários em 27 línguas. A equipe de Trust and Safety da Fundação Wikimedia analisou os comentários, categorizando-os de modo a identificar temas principais e áreas focais. Mudanças organizacionais dentro da Fundação Wikimedia e minha atuação no futuro

Olá, Wikimedistas,

Há algumas mudanças acontecendo nos últimos meses dentro da Fundação Wikimedia, e eu gostaria de comentá-las com vocês.

Em janeiro deste ano, a CEO da Fundação Wikimedia, Maryana Iskander, publicou uma carta aberta sobre seu primeiro ano de trabalho e sobre o futuro da organização. Nela, a executiva informava que o crescimento da Fundação tinha se estabilizado e que a tendência era rever e diminuir despesas para manter um orçamento reduzido e um crescimento mais lento no próximo ano.

Nesse sentido, a Fundação vem reduzindo despesas priorizando gastos gerais e postos de trabalho não ocupados, mas também, no último mês, anunciou a redução de sua equipe em cerca de 5%. Mais detalhes sobre essas mudanças serão disponibilizados em breve na versão preliminar do Plano Anual de Trabalho da Fundação. Como é habitual, será possível participar das discussões ao redor do Plano de maneira síncrona, em reuniões com as comunidades, e também na página de discussão correspondente no Meta.

Além da redução de recursos humanos na Fundação Wikimedia, também está havendo reorganizações internas, como é o caso do time da Estratégia do Movimento e Governança, do qual faço parte desde outubro de 2021. O grupo de facilitação da Estratégia do Movimento passa a atuar sob o guarda-chuva de Comunicação, mais especificamente, Movement Communications, e outras pessoas do time passam a colaborar a partir de diferentes equipes dentro da organização. Vale reforçar que a Estratégia 2030 continuará norteando os passos da organização de maneira transversal e inter-equipes. No meu caso em particular, a partir de 1º de maio de 2023 passarei a integrar a equipe de Programas Comunitários da Fundação Wikimedia, e estarei focada em campanhas globais de gênero.

Portanto, esta longa mensagem é também para agradecer pelo tempo em que pude trocar figurinhas com vocês especificamente sobre o desenvolvimento da Estratégia do Movimento e seus projetos, e para compartilhar minha novidade profissional, que vai me permitir desenvolver um trabalho muito alinhado com minha trajetória voluntária dentro do movimento Wikimedia. De qualquer modo, meus contatos não mudam e eu continuo disponível também para fazer pontes dentro da Fundação sobre outros assuntos que sejam importantes para a comunidade.

Seeking volunteers for the next step in the Universal Code of Conduct process

As follow-up to the message about the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines by Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees Vice Chair, Shani Evenstein Sigalov, I am reaching out about the next steps. I want to bring your attention to the next stage of the Universal Code of Conduct process, which is forming a building committee for the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). I invite community members with experience and deep interest in community health and governance to nominate themselves to be part of the U4C building committee, which needs people who are:

• Community members in good standing
• Knowledgeable about movement community processes, such as, but not limited to, policy drafting, participatory decision making, and application of existing rules and policies on Wikimedia projects
• Aware and appreciative of the diversity of the movement, such as, but not limited to, languages spoken, identity, geography, and project type
• Committed to participate for the entire U4C Building Committee period from mid-May - December 2023
• Comfortable with engaging in difficult, but productive conversations
• Confidently able to communicate in English

The Building Committee shall consist of volunteer community members, affiliate board or staff, and Wikimedia Foundation staff.

The Universal Code of Conduct has been a process strengthened by the skills and knowledge of the community and I look forward to what the U4C Building Committee creates. Invitation to participate in the #WPWPCampaign 2023

Dear Wikimedians,

We are glad to inform you that the 2023 edition of Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos campaign is coming up in July.

This is a formal invitation to invite individuals and communities to join the campaign to help improve Wikipedia articles with photos and other relevant media files.

If you're interested in participating, please find your community or community closer to you to participate from the Participating Communities page. If you're organizer, please add your community or Affiliate to the page.

The campaign primarily aims to promote using images from Wikimedia Commons to enrich Wikipedia articles. Participants will choose among Wikipedia pages without photos, then add a suitable file from among the many thousands of photos in the Wikimedia Commons, especially those uploaded from thematic contests (Wiki Loves Africa, Wiki Loves Earth, Wiki Loves Folklore, etc.) over the years. In this edition of the campaign, eligibility criteria have been revised based on feedback and campaign Evaluation Reports of the previous editions. The Elections Committee assists with the design and implementation of the process to select Community- and Affiliate-Selected trustees for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. After an open nomination process, the strongest candidates spoke with the Board and four candidates were asked to join the Elections Committee. Four other candidates were asked to participate as advisors.

MinT Machine Translation added to your Wikipedia

The WMF Language team has added another machine translation (MT) system for Content Translation in your Wikipedia called MinT; you can use MinT machine translation when translating Wikipedia articles using the Content and Section Translation tool.

The WMF Language team provides the MinT service. It is hosted in the Wikimedia Foundation Infrastructure with neural machine translation models that other organizations have released with an open-source license. MinT integrates translation based on NLLB-200, OpusMT, IndicTrans2 and Softcatalà. This MT is set as optional in your Wikipedia. Still, you can choose not to use it by selecting "Start with empty paragraph" from the "Initial Translation" dropdown menu.

Since MinT is hosted in the WMF Infrastructure and the models are open source, it adheres to Wikipedia's policies about attribution of rights, your privacy as a user and brand representation. You can find more information about the MinT machine translation and the models on this page.

Please note that the use of the MinT MT is not compulsory. However, we would want your community to:

• use it to improve the quality of the Machine Translation service
• provide feedback about its quality, and if you prefer the MinT machine translation as default in your Wikipedia.

We trust that introducing this MT is a good support to the Content Translation tool.

I am pleased to share the next step in the Universal Code of Conduct work. The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) draft charter is now ready for your review.

The Enforcement Guidelines require a Building Committee form to draft a charter that outlines procedures and details for a global committee to be called the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). Over the past few months, the U4C Building Committee worked together as a group to discuss and draft the U4C charter. The U4C Building Committee welcomes feedback about the draft charter now through 22 September 2023. After that date, the U4C Building Committee will revise the charter as needed and a community vote will open shortly afterward.

Boas de novo. Ocorréuseme que haberá moitas entradas do sitio do CCG neste Álbum que teñan doi, polo que, de cara ao futuro, a mellor práctica sería incluírlles o doi aquí. Ademais poderíase usar o xerador de citas automático e logo retirarlle as etiquetas ref para que nos queden ben formatados de xeito rápido. A new feature is coming to your wiki soon: Reference Previews are popups for references. Such popups have existed on wikis as local gadgets for many years. Now there is a central solution, available on all wikis, and consistent with the PagePreviews feature.

Reference Previews will be visible to everyone, including readers. If you don’t want to see them, you can opt out. If you are using the gadgets Reference Tooltips or Navigation Popups, you won’t see Reference Previews unless you disable the gadget.

Reference Previews have been a beta feature on many wikis since 2019, and a default feature on some since 2021. Deployment is planned for November 22.

Bo día!

Abriuse o prazo para solicitar bolsas para asistir a Wikimania 2024, que se ha celebrar en Polonia no verán. Ata o 18 de decembro pódense solicitar bolsas totais ou parciais para asistir presencialmente. Wikimania é a reunión global anual de persoas colaboradoras nos proxectos Wikimedia, que se leva a cabo presencialmente e en liña. O tema de 2024 será "Colaboración Aberta". The Technical Wishes team at Wikimedia Deutschland is planning to make reusing references easier. For our research, we are looking for wiki contributors willing to show us how they are interacting with references.

• The format will be a 1-hour video call, where you would share your screen. More information here.
• Interviews can be conducted in English, German or Dutch.
• Compensation is available.
• Sessions will be held in January and February.

• Please note that we probably won’t be able to have sessions with everyone who is interested. Feminism and Folklore 2024

You are humbly invited to organize the Feminism and Folklore 2024 writing competition from February 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023 on your local Wikipedia. This year, Feminism and Folklore will focus on feminism, women's issues, and gender-focused topics for the project, with a Wiki Loves Folklore gender gap focus and a folk culture theme on Wikipedia.

You can help Wikipedia's coverage of folklore from your area by writing or improving articles about things like folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, women and queer folklore figures, folk game athletes, women in mythology, women warriors in folklore, witches and witch hunting, fairy tales, and more. Users can help create new articles, expand or translate from a generated list of suggested articles.

Organisers are requested to work on the following action items to sign up their communities for the project:

1. Create a page for the contest on the local wiki.
2. Set up a campaign on CampWiz tool.
3. Create the local list and mention the timeline and local and international prizes.
4. Request local admins for site notice.
5. Link the local page and the CampWiz link on the meta project page.

This year, the Wiki Loves Folklore Tech Team has introduced two new tools to enhance support for the campaign. These tools include the Article List Generator by Topic and CampWiz. The Article List Generator by Topic enables users to identify articles on the English Wikipedia that are not present in their native language Wikipedia. Users can customize their selection criteria, and the tool will present a table showcasing the missing articles along with suggested titles. Additionally, users have the option to download the list in both CSV and wikitable formats. Notably, the CampWiz tool will be employed for the project for the first time, empowering users to effectively host the project with a jury. Both tools are now available for use in the campaign. A new feature for previewing references on your wiki

Apologies for writing in English. If you can translate this message, that would be much appreciated.

Hi. As announced some weeks ago ^{[1] [2]}, Wikimedia Deutschland’s Technical Wishes team introduced Reference Previews to many wikis, including this one. This feature shows popups for references in the article text.

While this new feature is already usable on your wiki, most people here are not seeing it yet because your wiki has set a gadget as the default for previewing references. We plan to remove the default flag from the gadget on your wiki soon. This means:

• The new default for reference popups on your wiki will be Reference Previews.
• However, if you want to keep using the gadget, you can still enable it in your personal settings.

The benefit of having Reference Previews as the default is that the user experience will be consistent across wikis and with the Page Previews feature, and that the software will be easier to maintain overall.

IMPORTANT: Admin activity review

Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, interface administrator, etc.) was adopted by global community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on all Wikimedia Foundation wikis with no inactivity policy. To the best of our knowledge, your wiki does not have a formal process for removing "advanced rights" from inactive accounts. This means that the stewards will take care of this according to the admin activity review.

We have determined that the following users meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no logged actions for more than 2 years):

1. Banjo (administrator, interface administrator)

These users will receive a notification soon, asking them to start a community discussion if they want to retain some or all of their rights. If the users do not respond, then their advanced rights will be removed by the stewards.

However, if you as a community would like to create your own activity review process superseding the global one, want to make another decision about these inactive rights holders, or already have a policy that we missed, then please notify the stewards on Meta-Wiki so that we know not to proceed with the rights review on your wiki.

This year, the term of 4 (four) Community- and Affiliate-selected Trustees on the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees will come to an end [1]. The Board invites the whole movement to participate in this year’s selection process and vote to fill those seats.

The Elections Committee will oversee this process with support from Foundation staff [2]. The Board Governance Committee created a Board Selection Working Group from Trustees who cannot be candidates in the 2024 community- and affiliate-selected trustee selection process composed of Dariusz Jemielniak, Nataliia Tymkiv, Esra'a Al Shafei, Kathy Collins, and Shani Evenstein Sigalov [3]. The group is tasked with providing Board oversight for the 2024 trustee selection process, and for keeping the Board informed. Here are the key planned dates:

• May 2024: Call for candidates and call for questions
• June 2024: Affiliates vote to shortlist 12 candidates (no shortlisting if 15 or less candidates apply) [5]

• October–November 2024: Background check of selected candidates
• Board's Meeting in December 2024: New trustees seated

Invitation to participate in the #WPWPCampaign 2024

Dear community members,

We are inviting you to participate in the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos 2024 campaign, a global contest scheduled to run from July through August 2024:

Participants will choose among Wikipedia pages without photo images, then add a suitable file from among the many thousands of photos in the Wikimedia Commons, especially those uploaded from thematic contests (Wiki Loves Africa, Wiki Loves Earth, Wiki Loves Folklore, etc.) over the years.

In its first year (2020), 36 Wikimedia communities in 27 countries joined the campaign. Events relating to the campaign included training organized by at least 18 Wikimedia communities in 14 countries.

The campaign resulted in the addition of media files (photos, audios and videos) to more than 90,000 Wikipedia articles in 272 languages.

Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWP) offers an ideal task for recruiting and guiding new editors through the steps of adding content to existing pages. Besides individual participation, the WPWP campaign can be used by user groups and chapters to organize editing workshops and edit-a-thons.

The organizing team is looking for a contact person to coordinate WPWP participation your language Wikipedia. We’d be glad for you to sign up directly at WPWP Participating Communities page on Meta-Wiki.

A special election has been called to fill additional vacancies on the U4C. The call for candidates phase is open from now through July 19, 2024.

The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) is a global group dedicated to providing an equitable and consistent implementation of the UCoC. Community members are invited to submit their applications in the special election for the U4C. For more information and the responsibilities of the U4C, please review the U4C Charter.

In this special election, according to chapter 2 of the U4C charter, there are 9 seats available on the U4C: four community-at-large seats and five regional seats to ensure the U4C represents the diversity of the movement. No more than two members of the U4C can be elected from the same home wiki. Therefore, candidates must not have English Wikipedia, German Wikipedia, or Italian Wikipedia as their home wiki.

After carefully tallying both individual and affiliate votes, the Charter Electoral Commission is pleased to announce the final results of the Wikimedia Movement Charter voting.  

As communicated by the Charter Electoral Commission, we reached the quorum for both Affiliate and individual votes by the time the vote closed on July 9, 23:59 UTC. We thank all 2,451 individuals and 129 Affiliate representatives who voted in the ratification process. Your votes and comments are invaluable for the future steps in Movement Strategy.

The final results of the Wikimedia Movement Charter ratification voting held between 25 June and 9 July 2024 are as follows:

Individual vote:

Out of 2,451 individuals who voted as of July 9 23:59 (UTC), 2,446 have been accepted as valid votes. Among these, 1,710 voted “yes”; 623 voted “no”; and 113 selected “–” (neutral). Because the neutral votes don’t count towards the total number of votes cast, 73.30% voted to approve the Charter (1710/2333), while 26.70% voted to reject the Charter (623/2333).

Affiliates vote:

Out of 129 Affiliates designated voters who voted as of July 9 23:59 (UTC), 129 votes are confirmed as valid votes. Among these, 93 voted “yes”; 18 voted “no”; and 18 selected “–” (neutral). Because the neutral votes don’t count towards the total number of votes cast, 83.78% voted to approve the Charter (93/111), while 16.22% voted to reject the Charter (18/111).

Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation:

The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees voted not to ratify the proposed Charter during their special Board meeting on July 8, 2024. The Chair of the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, Nataliia Tymkiv, shared the result of the vote, the resolution, meeting minutes and proposed next steps.  

With this, the Wikimedia Movement Charter in its current revision is not ratified.

Xeografía física i modo escuro

Recentemente engadín o modelo {{Xeografía física}}. Como o seu nome indica, permite ilustrar accidentes xeográficos, pero tamén algúns elementos con intervención humana na natureza, como parques naturais, xacementos arqueolóxicos e estacións de esquí.

Algunhos editores xa comezaron a usalo. Se queres ter unha guía de artigos posibles, en nesta lista podes atopar todos os artigos de CAwiki que a teñan la infocaixa e tamén están en GLwiki. Estou traballando na recollida de datos e noticias en Wikipedia:Wikiproxecto modelos/Xeografía física e farei unha páxina de exemplo, pero quería darvos a noticia.

Outra novidade é que esta infocaixa está preparada para funcionar en “modo escuro”, é dicir con texto branco sobre fondo negro. Trátase dunha nova funcionalidade da plataforma Wikimedia para descansar a vista, reducir o consumo de enerxía e mellorar o nivel de contraste para adaptalo ás persoas con dificultades visuais. Pódese atopar máis información en [2]https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Reading/Web/Accessibility_for_reading.

A súa implementación require moitos cambios e limitacións tanto na versión web como na versión móbil. Afecta ao uso das cores en textos e iconas, logotipos, etc. que che sorprenderán ao principio, pero que co paso do tempo, son cómodos. Para usar o modo escuro é obrigatorio traballar co a versió de WP Vector 2022 nas túas preferencias. Algúns de vostedes probablemente estean usando Vector 2010. O cambio é moi sinxelo, aínda que teño que admitir que cambiar a localización dos menús fai que a curva de aprendizaxe sexa un pouco máis longa.

Tamén comezarei a aplicar os cambios para traballar en modo escuro para as outras infocaixas que xa tiñamos instaladas.

Boa tarde. Dende Wikimedia España é un pracer convidarvos ás nosas XI Xornadas Anuais de Wikimedia España, que terán lugar no Museu Valencià d'Etnologia - L'ETNO (Valencia) os días 22, 23 e 24 de novembro.

Ola: Hoxe instalei a nova versión de Infobox person ({{Biografía}}). Non hai moitos cambios "visuais" porque GLwiki xa estaba traballando coa versión beta de todo o que estaba previsto nesta versión. Non obstante, melloráronse aspectos estruturais que facilitan o mantemento futuro. Temos:

• use TemplateStyles. Xa tes isto no resto de caixas de información e permíteche cambiar os aspectos de seu formato (cores, ancho, etc.) de forma independente sen afectar ao funcionamento.
• Capacidade de ver en modo escuro.
• Axuste un pouco máis as localizacións xeográficas ao mostrar.

• Use Nomeada como (P1810) como calificativo de "valor descoñecido" no cónxuxe, pais e fillos cando non teñan (e non terá) entrada WD. Esta solución xa se aplica a moitos elementos e, especialmente, aos autores de artigos científicos con nomes de persoas "complementarias" sen elemento. Case:Coenraad Johannes van Houten (Q906203)

• Poder informar a WD das batallas nas que participou. Ata agora era só unha configuración manual porque non existe ningunha propiedade en WD para informar isto.
• Move a "Itemgroup" ás iconas e condicións que están no código principal para que se poidan personalizar para cada WP.
• Un exemplo do punto anterior é poder escoller se queremos mostrar bandeiras xunto aos equipos deportivos na cronoloxía deportiva.

Como sempre, se detectas algunha área para mellorar, deixa unha mensaxe na páxina de discusión da biografía. No caso de que se trate dunha emerxencia porque se rompeu algo e se volveu tolo, envíeme unha mensaxe na miña páxina. Grazas !!

Preliminary results of the 2024 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees elections

Hello all,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees election. Close to 6000 community members from more than 180 wiki projects have voted.

The following four candidates were the most voted:

1. Christel Steigenberger
2. Maciej Artur Nadzikiewicz
3. Victoria Doronina
4. Lorenzo Losa

While these candidates have been ranked through the vote, they still need to be appointed to the Board of Trustees. They need to pass a successful background check and meet the qualifications outlined in the Bylaws. New trustees will be appointed at the next Board meeting in December 2024.

'Wikidata item' link is moving, finally.

Hello everyone, I previously wrote on the 27th September to advise that the Wikidata item sitelink will change places in the sidebar menu, moving from the General section into the In Other Projects section. The scheduled rollout date of 04.10.2024 was delayed due to a necessary request for Mobile/MinervaNeue skin. I am happy to inform that the global rollout can now proceed and will occur later today, 22.10.2024 at 15:00 UTC-2. Please let us know if you notice any problems or bugs after this change.
