Pairwise comparisons are one of those steps to be handled carefully in order to obtain useful results. During pairwise comparisons of elements such as decision criteria, let alone providing exact quantitative judgments, a complete linguistic set of judgments may sometimes be hard to retrieve from decision makers. From that perspective, completing an incomplete pairwise comparison matrix is an interesting problem that many attempted to cover. For that purpose, when decision makers provided incomplete interval-valued fuzzy preference relations, Khalid and Beg proposed an approach to obtain the completed matrix in their study [1]. Using their insight, the purpose of this exploratory study is to analyze what happens when triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs) are used for judgments and how powerful is the method in order to represent the will of the decision makers. In the study, a numerical application is provided using incomplete pairwise comparison matrices of dimension five, collected from 20 decision makers where their preferences are given using a linguistic set. The accuracy of the approach is then tested for different levels of confidence in order to provide insightful concluding remarks.

The evaluation process has to guarantee a sufficient level of objectivity and a limited level of subjectivity in order to answer the employees' expectancies. In this study, a multi-criteria approach to this problem has been proposed since the employees' performance depends on various criteria simultaneously. It is also considered that those criteria may have interaction. Hence, Choquet Integral has been used to handle this situation. To illustrate the use of the proposed method, the performance of a set of employees working in a company in medical sector is evaluated.

As a result academic research and company practices have actively started to develop decision making models in operation and practices to meet toughening competence demands that, moreover, need to be developed at an ever faster pace. In this research paper, we bring together several processes and components in order to provide a comprehensive overview in search for conceptual representations designed to support and develop organizational competence mapping at the individual and organizational level. According to recent research, as a decision making tool Analytic Network Process (ANP) methodology may mitigate the elusiveness of the architecturing competence concept by assisting to determine the importance of criteria and selecting the best alternative between competency models.

Because subjective considerations such as quality and success are relevant to the supplier evaluation, a fuzzy multi- criteria approach is adopted to an effective evaluation process. We applied fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) to weigh the evaluation criteria and to rank several supplier alternatives.

In order to do so, in our country where the need to electrical energy is rapidly increasing, the planning of production and development of electrical energy and its execution is very important from the economical point of view. However, the analysis of the final consumption of the country, the determination of all the factors affecting the final demand, is a multicriteria decision making (MCDM) problem which requires taking several different factors in account. In this study, the determination of the scenarios of the socio-economic and technique development and the problem of evaluating the values calculated for these scenarios will be solved with analytic network process (ANP)'s software superdecisions which will provide more accurate results by taking the relations between the evaluation factors into account. The results will be evaluated and their conformity to this process will be researched.

Adopting such a comprehensive framework may result in the great savings in both costs and man hours. This research explores the application of a hybrid multicriteria decision making (MCDM) procedure for the evaluation of various ERP alternatives. The proposed evaluation framework integrates three methodologies: Analytic Network Process (ANP), Choquet integral (CI) and Measuring Attractiveness by a Categorical Based Evaluation Technique (MACBETH). ANP produces the priorities of alternatives with respect to the interdependent evaluation criteria. The conjunctive or disjunctive behaviors between criteria are determined using MACBETH and CI. Numerical application of the proposed methodology is implemented on the decision making problem of a firm that faces with four ERP projects. The final ranking is compared to the one obtained by ignoring the interactions among criteria. The results demonstrate that the ignorance of the interactions may lead to erroneous decisions.
