Emma in the Strawberry Patch Digi Set

There is a new Emma in the store ;)  Emma in the Strawberry Patch   It comes with another strawberries image as well.

Was this card "fun" LOL  I coloured with copics & neopikos... I am still figuring out the bleed problem.. need better CS BUT that wasn't my real problem.  I tried running the image through the cuttle bug with the nesties taped to the CS with painters tape.. I felt the tape... it didn't feel very sticky... well after I shredded the outer layer of paper trying to get the tape off... I tried rescuing the image with a coating of modge podge... LOL... it kind of worked.  anyhoo  the blossoms were made using a flower I drew and cut in the cricut ( Fred got a new Cricut! .... more info later ;) ), a stamen punch and then I cut up a punched flower to make the strawberries.  The leaves were a free SVG I found on the web.  If I find it, I'll edit this to include the link.  Everything ( except Emma ) was coloured with distress inks and stickles.

Have a great day!

CARD Smelling the Cherry Blossoms

Hi! I decided to try and make an easel card. I found the instructions on Splitcoast Stampers. The Cherry Blossoms Paper was printed on matte photo paper and I glue pen embossed an outline around some of the flowers with a gold embossing powder with glitter in it. It just makes the paper look so rich almost like real washi paper. I coloured the girl and blossoms with alcohol markers ( copic and neopiko) and did some highlighting on hair, etc with white pencil and added a shadow with a cream pencil. I used Waterfall Stickles on the sash and flowers. The butterfly is from MS butterfly stamp combo punch. There are 3 green gems ( that didn't photograph well so you can't see them) keeping the card propped up.

I've attached the sentiments in case you would like to use them :)

Have a great day! ... and don't forget to hop around the Blog Hop and get the chance to win some new designs!

Little Rosey is not in the Christmas spirit at the moment... she just started antibiotics for a bladder infection and she is not agreeing with it. She is a drooly sweaty mess! I am in contact with the on call weekend vet and hope this yucky feeling of hers passes... she looks nauseated like dizzy me blech ! LOL.

I interrupt the holidays with some...

Girly frills! .. and PINK!!! LOL Sometimes I don't know what I will come up with when I start doodling. This one is unabashedly girly, almost to the point of looking like a bridesmaid's dress gone wrong LOL. But it is what it is... cute! " Emma with her Frills On". I decided on 2 versions. One has her holding a bouquet of flowers and the other is Emma with empty hands and then there is a set of coordinating tiny Fred's Flowers to make a posey for her to hold :D Like in the card below.

For this card I used a digital paper I have recently made using a lacey brush I doodled. How fast can you say FREEBIE?? heehee hint.. click freebie! I printed a second Emma onto the printed paper and then paper pieced the dress and hat, the hands are hidden behind the flowers. I shaded the dress with a dark pink pencil. All colouring is with with pencils/OMS as well as the green background paper.... I roughly cross-hatched some greens and blended the pencil markings where it would show with OMS... great way to get a coordinating DP for your coloured images! The shadow around Emma is Caledon Green... I love this colour and it is one of the greens in my background. All glitter is Diamond Stickles on the lace, hat trim and scalloped border - I used flatbacked sticky pearls and a pink gem for the posey. .. and a whole whack of foam tape LOL.

"Emma with her Frills On" and another new wintery Emma will be available as digi's ASAP as well as a coloured Fall Flowers set. There will be a delay on coloured Emma versions. I am attempting to get over a sinus/allergy attack that started Sat. and basically laid me flat for a day or two.

NEWS!

Winter Emma & The Chickadee & Freebies!!!!!

Here is a new Emma! Emma & The Chickadee. She is available as a Digital Stamp and a Set of 5 coloured versions. There are also some lovely coordinating Christmas Papers!

Deets: The 2 above cards used the digital coloured versions. The papers are from the Christmas Paper pack. I added Sakura StarDust Pen and Diamond Stickles here and there. The flower center is handmade using a "Flower Center" paper punch, walnut stain inkpad, stickles and a dewdrop. I so love making these so you will see more! The flower on the red card is digital that I cut out... see below's freebie!

OK so I am looking at my blog and as of writing I am literally 50 hits away from 150,000! Wow! So in honour, here is a little freebie. The flower coordinates with the Burgundy Emma and Papers. I am experimenting with making PNG Flower masks. You will see them in the near future :) The snowy papers I painted in Painter. Just click on the image below to get to the freebies!

Drive-By: Christmas Card 2

Here is the other quick christmas card I made. I used Emma the Hugger coloured version. The scalloped circle is painted with gold lumiere paint... but it didn't have a tinsel-ly enough feel so I added diamond stickles all over it and also added stickles to the image and the flakes in the embossed paper, which has broken china distress ink applied with the blending tool. This card just has this tinselly glow... I love tinsel... but not with puppies... our Molly liked to eat tinsel :O So we will keep tinsel off the tree this year so Rosey won't eat it.

Emma's & Flowers & Doodledallions OH MY

I have just uploaded several goodies at the Store :D

First up is Emma in the Leaves!

Some of my Design Team have been playing and made some lovelies!

Erin played with Emma using an awesome blue and chocolate theme. You rocked the paper piecing, Erin!

Carol L. made a lovely fall themed card using "Emma in the Leaves" digi and her own leafy background digital paper, she also coloured Emma in Photoshop:

Carol also made a gorgeous Yellow Blossom card using the Lovely Blossom & Butterfly Decoupage set, I added to the store earlier this week:

Maria also made a beauty using the Blossoms set in Blue:

Next is a set very dear to me - Fall Flowers & Paper Pricking Frame Digi Set.

This set includes Sunflower, Black-eyed Susan, Asters, and Chrysanthemum digi-images.

Also inluded is this lovely coordinating paper pricking frame:

Carol H made this sunflower beauty with the paper pricking frame.. love the colours!

Maria created this whole awesome set! She used one of my blog paper freebies for backing paper:

Lisa P. used the Chrysanthemum and 3d paper toled the front and painted with twinkling H2O's... gorgeous!

Third up is the Flowering Hearts Doodledallions Digi Set:

Here are some of cards I made using the set. I didn't use the scalloped image for the pink one... it was a prototype LOL and cut with a Spellbinders scalloped die.

I tweaked the design and made multiple versions for a Christmas Flower Doodledallions Set!

No samples yet for this one, but the weekend of fun is NOT over! I hope to have more goodies plus a freebie. We will also see if more of my DT will come out and play! LOL

The Doodledallions, for my colouring challenged peeps LOL, are in the process of being coloured. Stayed tuned for more info later!

Have a great day!

NEW RELEASES

Hi peeps! It's Happy Multi-Posting Day for little ol' me! First things first, I have FOUR new releases for you!

Some "Dancing Daises" ( one will be familiar to some of you ;) but it needed a home and had to complete this set:

Some " Flutterbies for Your Flowers":

Here is a sample:

This one introduces a new background paper stamp tool I will be showing you how to use soon.

New Fred's Flowers: "A Lovely Blossom & Butterfly":

These are so beautiful, I have more planned for these and have a few DT's jumping at the bit to show it to you LOL!

And last but not least is "Little Miss Bitty"!

Oh she is so cute, I just wanna eat her up! There are 14 versions of Miss Bitty, some as a bug, some as a fairy and some as a sweet girl. I call her "quick change" Bitty LOL!

**All the releases have single PNG stamps and ready-to-print sheets so you can get rolling right away.

**In the flower and butterfly products, I've been messing with different PNG versions so, for some, you can layer them on coloured backgrounds while the image stays white for colouring later.

I recruited the DT's to show us some eye candy using the new designs. I let them choose what they wanted to use so I have no idea what they have up their talented sleeves, let's see shall we?! We'd be oh so happy if you would check them out:

Donna
Erin
Jen
Lora
Lisa C.
Maria
Michelle
True
Carol L.

Please check out the next posting, Fred's Freebie Challenge for a fun challenge, a digi-freebie, and prizes!!!! woohoo.

Emma the Mermaid Coloured Set

After a few more gray hairs and panic attacks, I have finally finished Emma the Mermaid & Friends in all their technocolour glory! I am so sorry for the delay ( like really sorry!)... I will just say this, this one was a struggle for me but I think it all came together in the end so nicely :)

You can find them HERE.

Now I am working on more flowery and fluttery things and a couple of sets I am long overdue in completing.

Emma and Flowers Card

I made this card for my mom, for her birthday, I hope she's not looking! The image and flowers were coloured with prismacolor pencils and OMS. I also used a bit of blue distress stickles and waterfall stickles.

I apologize for the lack of posts and freebies I posted about. I've been a bit out of sorts, really tired... not sure if its allergies or stress. Don't take much to mess me up LOL! :P I hope to get some freebies out next week.

I will be sponsoring the Digital Tuesday Challenge this Tuesday :D. Please check it out on Tuesday, May 19th for a great fun challenge using your digital images!

Tomorrow I will post about the Nolan, his mother's day card and some things he has done.

Later Gator...

Emma & the Butterfly

Announcing Emma & the Butterfly digital stamp :) At the STORE.

This is a little older more lady-like Emma. She is growing up too fast before my eyes! She still has the same free spirit and looks ready to twirl or make a get-away just like the butterfly she is admiring LOL!

Card Details:
Emma and the flower/leaves are coloured with pencils and OMS ( actually Emma is coloured with Goo Gone. It has a lemony smell that reminds you to colour in a ventilated place! LOL - yes OMS has nasty fumes... you just can't smell them ;) ). I was miserly and made the blue matte by cutting white CS to size and colouring the edges with the same denim blue pencil I used on the dress sash and blended with Goo Gone, I love the effect. Another miserly trick is that I took the cuttings made from trimming my bow and tucked them behind my flower ;) The background was made by doodling with pastel pencils ( blue, green, yellow) all over white paper then gently smudging with a tissue but trying not to blend the colours together.

Have a great day!

:)*
