With the start of our new Paper Creations YouTube channel, we've decided to begin with a quick and easy tutorial on how to make some really pretty journal tags. It's a great scrap buster project since you will be using up some of your strips of paper from your stash. I went with pink and grey papers and most came from a Kaisercraft designer paper pad called Peekaboo - Girl. I doubt they sell it anymore since we have had it in the stash for ages. I love the simplicity of this project and I also love that there is very little waste. I was inspired by @shabbydabbydoodah1

The blue paper is from a new kit in the Basic Journal Pages section in my Etsy Shop. It's called Steely blue. Don't you just love the old wallpapers? 

The butterflies are from the dollar store and the ephemera is Tim Holtz. I used vintage photo to ink the edges. 

Don't ask me where I got the large tag from. I'm sure it was from a gift shop years ago.
