1st May and today's tiara is Queen Victoria's Emerald tiara which was designed for her by Prince Albert. The beautiful piece has only been photographed or painted a handful of times. Today it belongs to the Duke of Fife, and was last worn by his mother at the State Opening of Parliament in the early 1960s. Prince Phillip's grandmother, Princess Victoria of Hesse was also photographed wearing it. It has some beautiful accompanying jewels.
