Do you Need to Prime a Canvas for Acrylics?' Absolutely! Learn the key benefits of priming for vibrant and lasting acrylic paintings.

Let one layer dry before applying the next. I give it 3 layers but you can apply however many you need. 👉 Sand it down using any rough sponge to remove dirt particles. Benefits: 1. Makes the application of paint smoother. 2. Gives a good base to work on. Just like prepping your skin with primer before makeup. 3. Tightens up the canvas paper and makes it sturdy.
