I spent Friday night meandering through the Mary Valley waiting for moonset and the Milky Way to rise. This was the last location of the night. I wish I had taken another photo to the right hand side to get the full arch. Unfortunately this is as much as i received. I placed a strobe in the picnic area and triggered it with some triggers I received for my birthday.

A moment I captured when I was teaching my friend how to do night photography and how to capture the stars. She ended up growing very close to my heart, sharing a passion for photography and getting to show her the lens through my eyes was really an exciting experience for me. I hope she continues to grow in night photography, she's already a gifted photographer, and I'm lucky to call her a friend.
