| This resolution appointing Gregory Maxwell as Chief Research Coordinator was approved by vote (1 abstention) on 11 February 2007. |
Whereas the Foundation is in need of systematic research of a wide variety of matters which affect the Foundation and Wikimedia Community,
- The Board accepts the resignation of James Forrester as Chief Research Officer,
- The Board renames the existing volunteer role of "Chief Research Officer" to "Chief Research Coordinator". The role description can be found at Chief Research Coordinator.
- The Board appoints Gregory Maxwell to this volunteer role.
