#5 Feelings for 1’s and 0’s (2/25/14)
Wow! An extra painting done during the shortest month! Chalk it up to a week off of school. As it happens, I’m going to need to be ahead. Next week I start a new job and will have significantly less time for painting.
This one is for all of you who have complained that there aren’t enough robots on a tumblr with “robot” in the title.
I kinda wish I had a book like this.

#4 Cat Breath (2/19/14)
My cat had all four of her incisors extracted a few days ago. Let this serve as a PSA - cats have teeth that need to be taken care of. Also, feeding your cats “Creme de la Fish Brains” and letting them wear the empty can for a hat is probably not a good idea.

#3: Seedling (2/13/14)
This is painting number 3 in my year of paintings. Kind of a different thing than usual. Early on I decided it was left-heavy, but didn’t know how to balance it out. Still I love the colors in the robot and the landscape.

#2: Sam Flipper, Dolphin Detective, Ambushed by the Turtellini Brothers (1/26/14)
This is painting number 2 in my “year of paintings.” This is a follow up to the digital painting I made way back: Dolphin Noir.
For this one I decided to reuse a panel that had an uncompleted work on it and immediately regretted it because there are textures and ridges and bumps that shine through. You can even see them in the scanned image. I really like the way the painting came out, though!
