On three occasions drivers failed to deliver stating they had missed us ie. they couldn’t contact me. On all occasions I was at home: my property is rural, adjacent to a lane which is a dead end. I can see it from my kitchen and I have security lights and cameras. None of the drivers came to my property and on three occasions lied: on the final occasion the driver took a photograph of a cattle grid in the middle of nowhere. This took place between 27th and 31st December 2024.

Absolutely naff! Delivery driver knocked then left! "Unable to deliver parcel". He didn't stay at door long enough for us to answer it. Neighbour tried to wave him down: clearly doesn't use his mirrors!! I don't understand why "knocking and running" benefits Delivery driver time. I'd heard DPD are like that. Really annoyed.

I've never come across a company who cared less about t
he state in which they provided a package or the potential destruction of the materials in it.

Reply was 'computer says no' and take it up with company who provided the book - honestly your company is just the worst customer service wise.

I could not agree more with the previous comments. My driver today said he was advised parcel not ready for collection - he did not come here today and when I contacted customer service it is an outreach in India. Why oh why is this still happening that our uk companies use these overseas countries when the staff don’t really understand what we are complaining about. I also contacted the company to whom parcel was being returned and they were in South Africa !!! Say no more as the staff in these outreaches just don’t care and don’t listen or understand our concerns. Totally dismayed at what this country is becoming. Is there a way we can refuse to have these companies deliver goods for us???

Had a delivery of a costly academic…

Had a delivery of a costly academic book this afternoon and thr package and book within looked like it was dropped in a puddle mid transit.

I've never come across a company who cared less about the state in which they provided a package or the potential destruction of the materials in it.

Reply was 'computer says no' and take it up with company who provided the book - honestly your company is just the worst customer service wise.

I could not agree more with the previous comments. Didn't deliver my parcel, lied about it.

Didn't deliver my parcel. Didn't actually knock or ring, picture sent was not my house but three doors up.

Fine, I'll request redelivery to a local pickup point, that's an option on the email. Accepted. Will be ready for collection today.

I have tracking that says my parcel has instead been returned to the sender, for NO reason - it didn't come to the city that the pickup point is in - AND that it will be available to collect today.

Online chat don't know where it is. Won't escalate complaint. Won't offer solutions.

Contact centre hung up on me, after lying that pickup point was not a valid delivery option on the email. Why could I select it then?

Nobody knows where my parcel is, nobody is willing to accept responsibility, and customer agents outright lied to me.

Will avoid from now on. Suggest you do the same as there is no accountability.

DPD - Don’t Provide Delivery is what it stands for for.

My Sister sent a parcel for Christmas in plenty of time for delivery.
Website says it is still at Leeds on 17th December 2024. Each time I track the parcel in a different way it says it is being delivered the day I track (including Christmas Day).
Parcel number 15976819587408.
This company is sending misinformation to anyone expecting a parcel and now need reporting to the governing body of delivery services.

Useless

An absolute Sh.. show!

Where do I start with this incompetent company, who do nothing but pass the buck to the sender. They (that is Kyle) delivered my parcel to the wrong address, for which i got the automated message telling me i had received and signed, for it! No photographic evidence. I then phoned dpd who said "contact the seller"! What?! An absolute farce. Now off to do the review for Ninja......

Worst Delivery Company

Stayed in all day to wait for an item I had paid extra to be delivered on a specific day. Surprise got a message to say sorry we missed you when I was in all day. I cannot stand liars. The delivery driver made no effort to deliver and the worst he lied. I spent 45 minutes sorting this out with company I bought from as there is no way of speaking to DPD direct. Should be minus in my rating.

Avoid collection service

Parcel was to be collected in pre-booked time. Driver did not arrive but left online comment saying he had visited the property and parcel was not ready to be collected.

When I contacted DPD customer service to complain, I was told that the driver had arrived and gone to number 5, not 50 but this mistake mistaken the zero for an o in the number 50. Ludicrous excuse!

Always seem to deliver to the wrong…

Always seem to deliver to the wrong address. Why?. Submitted an image of my property, used Three Words, yet they still mis-deliver!. This has happened on many occasions, but it has now got beyond my level of patience. Brilliant App, full-time drivers brilliant. It's just that the part-time drivers are totally lost. Delivered 1.3 miles away with a photo of a porch. I don't have a porch!.

Worst delivery service ever!

Worst delivery service ever!! You don't get enough notice as to when they are delivering the item as you only get notice on the day of delivery which is hopeless if you work. Then when trying to find out through chat when the next delivery will be so you can arrange to be there they are unhelpful and can't help you. They say they will deliver it but no time given and you are left wondering until you get notification with only an hour slot. Never use this firm and will in future check who the delivery firm is before I order anything with a company.

Item did not arrive dpd claimed gps…

Item did not arrive dpd claimed gps indicates i received item. Ebay would not refund saying same gps shows it was delivered to me. Seller would not investigate. After 6 weeks of no item and no refund my brother knew a manager in DPD and established the gps (which was never actually provided to me). The item was delivered 5 roads away! My brother went to address and person had removed packaging and kept the PC in their cupboard but returned it once challenged. Dpd and Ebay still refuse to acknowledge this but Paypal refunded me full price as a good will gesture.

dpd: WORST EVER DELIVERY SERVICE
waiting for a parcel, email saying sorry we missed u, WE WERE HOME !!! 2nd attempt, home waiting the lights were on and we r watching our ring door bell & another email came again ‘Sorry we missed u’ WHATT!!!
Absolutely abysmal service they took pictures of the front door and the second time took a distance picture of the path near house
I don’t know what kinda scam this is but it needs to stop!!! 🤯😡😡😡🤬

Paid to have a parcel delivered on…

Paid to have a parcel delivered on Saturday, it didn't arrive and have been told it is still sitting in their Uddingston depot which is now closed and unable to advise me of delivery date. They have also said I didn't pay for next day service despite me having proof on my invoice.

Freaking trash company. Did nothing and said” we missed you ….” I was in then the stupid driver “try” to delivery it. Dont even mention the guy failed to delivery it to the pickup point for several time. Freaking trash company.

Zero Customer Service

Sat at home waiting for a dpd delivery to no avail. Checked their tracking and it stipulated that it had been delivered. Not true.
Spent hours on dpd websites only to be fobbed off. Phoned local deeside depot and the guy wanted me to take pictures of my house and check my signature. Had enough by then and declined taking photos of my home. Unable to get contact information to make a formal complaint. Shame on them!

Worst delivery company in the UK!

Worst delivery company in the UK!. When waiting at home for the delivery slot, they DO NOT EVEN TRY to deliver any item. They send an email with ‘sorry we missed you’ making sound like it’s my fault. They then upload a blank black picture showing ‘how’ they tried to deliver. I try to avoid companies who use DPD for their deliveries as they are so bad…
