Morning All.
Well, what a lovely day we had yesterday. We had to go shopping to buy my eldest some new school shoes, as his had fallen to pieces after just 3 months - and I admit I was dreading the prospect. Anyhow we set off to Southend, and managed to find a pair of shoes in the first shop - amazing. We done a bit of Christmas shopping, then went down to the seafront and played in the arcades for a little while. Then hubby took us all out to dinner on the way home - very scrummy :o)
Then this morning I was awoken by a hubby leaping out of bed, announcing we had no power in the house. The fuse box had tripped out again (quite a regular occurance in our wonky house). He managed to get the power back on, but once again our American style fridge freezer refused to restart, so we have been searching the internet since about six this morning to find one that could be delivered tomorrow - as this is the third time it's happened and I usually end up running round all our family and friends depositing the freezer contents around Burnham, and I just can't keep doing that every time the power goes off. Luckily though today, it has only taken a couple of hours for it to decide to work again, unlike the usual 12 it normally takes - but I still think it's faulty somewhere, as I'm sure it should set off as soon as power is restored.
Anyhow, the real reason for this post is to announce the launch of the next challenge at
Here Come The Boys, and this fortnight we would like to see your creations 'for the man in your life', so they could be birthday, anniversary, christmas or whatever just as long as it's for your special fella.
My card is made with my little Matty in mind, as at 8 years old Christmas still has all the magic and excitment that you miss as you get older. I have used a lovely LOTV image, coloured with ProMarkers, but kept the layout nice and simple and unfussy, so I hope you like.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
and
Thanks for looking, and have a good day.
