Lots Of Folds

Morning All.
Well the kids are excited as they have a day off from school because of the strikes, and actually it's quite nice staying tucked up and warm rather than doing the school run.
Today also sees the last challenge of the year from Fab 'n' Funky, and we have decided to end on an 'anything goes' challenge.
I thought I'd step away from Christmas for this challenge, and have made a tepee Tatty Teddy card - I hope you like :o)
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Party Time Tuesdays - anything goes
Crafty Boots - anything goes
and
Little Claires - shaped cards
Thanks for looking and I'll be back again soon.

Just Because

Morning All.
Well lately all the cards I seem to blog are DT creations, so just for a change I thought I'd blog a card just because I'd made it.
I used this card in one of my House Mouse classes earlier in the year, and all my ladies seemed to like it, until it came to colouring in the fir tree - thank goodness for ProMarker fine tips, else I think it would have been an impossible task. I just love the way all the little mice are toasting their toes around the candle.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Craft Your Passion -'Tis the season
House Mouse Challenge - the warm fuzzies
Pollycraft - Christmas fun
Stamptacular Sunday - anything Christmas
Sweet Stampin - punches or dies
and
I Love ProMarkers - anything goes
Thanks for looking, and see you soon.

Whenever I think of cute, I have to go down the LOTV route, as by now you will have probably guessed I own several and am completely addicted to them :o) I have used non-christmassy papers for this card for a change, and also kept it very monochromatic, with just a hint of green on the holly. I hope you likee!

For The Man In Your Life

Morning All.
Well, what a lovely day we had yesterday. We had to go shopping to buy my eldest some new school shoes, as his had fallen to pieces after just 3 months - and I admit I was dreading the prospect. Anyhow we set off to Southend, and managed to find a pair of shoes in the first shop - amazing. We done a bit of Christmas shopping, then went down to the seafront and played in the arcades for a little while. Then hubby took us all out to dinner on the way home - very scrummy :o)
Then this morning I was awoken by a hubby leaping out of bed, announcing we had no power in the house. The fuse box had tripped out again (quite a regular occurance in our wonky house). He managed to get the power back on, but once again our American style fridge freezer refused to restart, so we have been searching the internet since about six this morning to find one that could be delivered tomorrow - as this is the third time it's happened and I usually end up running round all our family and friends depositing the freezer contents around Burnham, and I just can't keep doing that every time the power goes off. Luckily though today, it has only taken a couple of hours for it to decide to work again, unlike the usual 12 it normally takes - but I still think it's faulty somewhere, as I'm sure it should set off as soon as power is restored.
Anyhow, the real reason for this post is to announce the launch of the next challenge at Here Come The Boys, and this fortnight we would like to see your creations 'for the man in your life', so they could be birthday, anniversary, christmas or whatever just as long as it's for your special fella.
My card is made with my little Matty in mind, as at 8 years old Christmas still has all the magic and excitment that you miss as you get older. I have used a lovely LOTV image, coloured with ProMarkers, but kept the layout nice and simple and unfussy, so I hope you like.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
My Sheri Crafts - decorate for Christmas
Our Creative Corner - Chrismas tree challenge
Fairy Tale - Christmas
Patties Creations - Christmas
Stampin With The Dragon - anything goes Christmas
Lili Of The Valley - anything goes
and
I Love ProMarkers - anything goes
Thanks for looking, and have a good day.

Happy #100 Fab 'n' Funky

Morning All.
I've just looked out the window and he world seems to have disappeared into the fog. I think it's a shame that it can't be a snuggle up and play day in the warm, rather than work day :o(
Today sees the start of the 100th challenge at Fab 'n' Funky, which is all very exciting. We were due to do a blog hop, but due to circumstances beyond anyones control, this has been postponed to the new year, so keep your ears and eyes posted. To mark the occasion though we have a nice simple challenge of 'Happy Birthday', so anyhing goes as long as it's a birthday creation.
My card is one I did in a class recently, and the sentiment just made me chuckle, so I hope you like it.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Clear It Out - orange and brown
Creative Card Crew - monochromatic

Incy Wincy Designs - photo inspiration
One Stitch At A Time - anything goes

How excited was I yesterday - I had the new stand of indervidual FlexMarker colours arrive, so today's little job is to upload them all to my shop, Ewe 2 Can Craft. So hopefully, by this evening you will have 52 lovely colours to choose from at just £2.50 each (rrp £2.99). Please pop on over and take a look if you're intresed, and just as a reminder it's free P&P in the UK on orders over £5.00.
This card is ready for the new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky, and the theme this week is 'It's Cold Outside'.
I have used a LOTV stamp that I bought at Ally Pally recently, coloured with FlexMarkers, with some glamour dust for added sparkle. The papers are from Craft Creations, and the charm is one from my shop.

Just Watching

Morning All.
I'm not sure I like this Monday morning feeling, I much prefer the lay in Sunday one, but oh well, guess you to have to have get up days so you can appreciate lay in days.
Anyhow, today sees the start of the new challenge at The Cutie Pie Blog, and I love this one - we would like to see your bear creations. We are also really lucky to have Teddy Bo & Co. as our sponsor this time round, and as you can see the DT have become total addicts of these images - we just adore them. Also Emma from CRAFTY EMMA'S STORE is our Random Winners Sponsor and is giving a generous £10 gift voucher to spend in her shop (P&P not incl.).
My card has been made with a Teddy Bo image coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are a combination of Nit Wits and Kraft. The butterfly was cut using a Spellbinders die and double layered, and the buttons are some from my stash, which for some reason, instead of sticking them on I decided to sew on - must be mad lol. I hope you like it, and will come on over and join in the challenge fun with us.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Dream Valley - stitching (hope sewing my buttons on counts)
I Did It Creations - everybody loves teddy
Paper Sundaes - digital image
Cuddly Bubbly - use two little characters
Simply Create - use a bear
CRAFT - cute
Crafts and Me - birthdays

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Here Come The Boys, and this time round we would like to see your 'red, green and white' creations on a male theme. Our sponsor this time is the lovely Woo, and she is offering a prize of 25 Christmas 6in papers & 25 Orange 6in designed papers plus a Milton & Co Stamp, so it's got to be worth joining in with the chance to win such a fab prize.
I must admit I was a bit stumped at this colour combo, until I found this stamp from Dustin Pike, which screamed red, white and green.

Humphrey With Daisy

Hello All.
Sorry for my absense, but I have not felt much like blogging over the past week, as very sadly my second cat was knocked down and killed by a car. That's both my furry babies in three weeks - life seems so unfair sometimes. But what makes me even crosser is that neither driver stopped.
Also the bathroom that should have taken 10 days, is still on going with no end in sight, but all you have to keep thinking is 'It will be lovely when it's done', although that is hissed through clenched teeth at the mo.
Anyhow on a far lighter not it is time for the new challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky, and this time the theme is 'all white on the night'. This means we would like to see lots of white in your creations with a single accent colour. I have choosen blue as my accent colour, and have used a Humphrey stamp for my image. I must admit it did make a change to do a non-christmas card again. The backing papers are from Craft Creations and as usual the charm is from my shop.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Forever Friends - bling, bling
House Of Gilli - monochromatic
Lexi's Creations - use a charm
The Squirrel and The Fox - hats or flowers
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - cutesy project
and
Stamp Insanity - chilled out blues
Thanks for looking, and hopefully you'll pop by again soon.
