Abstract: Power electronics allows the adaptation of electrical energy parameters through
the use of semi-conductive electronic converters. Taking into account that these electronic
devices will be of power, roughly. This power based current transformers are able to
mitigate the excessive consumption of raw materials thus reducing power losses. Taking
into account that the demand for electrical energy has increased, it is necessary to
incorporate new energy generating systems, since conventional methods for obtaining it
are becoming obsolete over time, the use of renewable energies such as wind power,
photovoltaic, hydraulic, among many others, would allow adequate support for demand
and, in turn, would mitigate the environmental impact generated by other types of energy.
Keywords: Power electronics, transform, electrical energy, power losses, amplitude and
frequency.
