Resumen
Summary
Objective: To adapt the Buss & Perry Agression Questionnaire (BPAQ) to the Spanish popu-
lation and to verify its relation with the Jenkins Activity Survey (JAS).
Method: The authors have proceeded to translate and retrotranslate the original BPAQ ver-
sion. BPAQ and JAS were administered to 192 students from the Medical School of the
Universitat de Barcelona. Test-retest stability were calculated in a subgroup of students tho-
rough a second administration 15 days later.
Results and conclusions: Reliability and stability coefficients obtained with the Spanish
adaptation of BPAG are appropriated for research purposes. Gender differences were apprecia-
ted in physical aggression but not in other subscales. It seams that JAS hostility scale measures
different aspects of the aggression-hostility construct than BPAG.
