1. PRESENTACIÓN:
Los pronombres personales en inglés son aquellos que hacen referencia a las personas
gramaticales. Ellos son: I, we, you, they, she, he, it.
Para conjugar correctamente los verbos en inglés, es importante que sepas algunas de las
características gramaticales de los pronombres personales.
La primera persona singular y plural corresponde a I y we. La segunda persona singular y
plural tiene la misma forma, es decir, you. La tercera persona del singular tiene tres
pronombres: he, she it, y el plural es they.
El verbo ‘to be’ es el verbo más importante en inglés y debemos aprenderlo y memorizarlo
cuanto antes; su conjugación depende directamente del pronombre personal.
I am (Yo soy/estoy) You are (Tú eres/estás o ustedes son /estan)
He/she/it is (Él/Ella es/está) We are (Nosotros somos/estamos)
They are (Ellos/Ellas son/están)
Una vez hemos memorizado todo esto junto con un poco de vocabulario, podemos explicar
muchas cosas como por ejemplo; de dónde somos, qué nos gusta hacer, cuál es nuestra
nacionalidad, etc.
Ejemplos:
I am British (Soy británico/a) She is tall (Ella es alta) We are hungry (Tenemos hambre)
