APÉNDICE

1. Constantes y coeficientes
de propiedades físicas

Este apéndice es un banco de datos de propiedades físicas para 176 compuestos,


dividido en los grupos de inorgánicos y orgánicos. Dentro de cada grupo se en-
cuentran ordenados por orden alfabético de los elementos en su fórmula empírica.
Sin embargo, los productos orgánicos que contienen carbono e hidrógeno están or-
denados según la convención del Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.
En la Parte A se presentan las siguientes constantes de propiedades físicas:
M = masa molecular
Tb = temperatura normal de ebullición, “R
T, = temperatura crítica, “R
P, = presión crítica, psia
ZC = factor de compresibilidad crítico
w = factor acéntrico de Pitzer
6 = parámetro de solubilidad de Hildebrand a 25°C (cal/cm3)“*
VL = volumen molar del líquido a la temperatura del superíndice (OC),
cm3/mol; los valores entre paréntesis son para líquidos hipotéticos.
En la Parte B se indican los coeficientes para las siguientes propiedades fisicas:
1. Capacidad calorífica del gas ideal.

Un valor de la lista, por ejemplo, como 0,8334 E-3, representa 0,8334 X lOe3 ó
0,0008334. La mayoría de los valores de las Partes A y B del Apéndice 1 fueron
tomados, con permiso de Monsanto Company, de la colección de datos del pro-
grama de simulación FLOWTRAN.*

Este apéndice presenta, en tres partes, referencias de fuentes de programas de or-


denador que resultan útiles en el cálculo de operaciones de separación por etapas
de equilibrio. La primera parte hace referencia a los programas que se relacionan
directamente con la materia objeto de este libro, y para los cuales los listados de
los programas se encuentran impresos en las referencias o están disponibles a tra-
vés del autor del programa. En la Parte B hacemos referencia a algunos programas
de diseño asistidos por ordenador de tipo industrial ampliamente utilizados que in-
cluyen subrutinas para muchos de los procedimientos de cálculo descritos en este
